“Fleeing from hurricane Milton I was Looking for a local coffee shop and stumbled upon Cathedral coffee, it had great ratings and a great welcoming atmosphere, they offer gluten-free options, big plus for me and coffee is phenomenal. I ordered their vanilla latte two days in a row.“

“We went to Brasserie Circa for the first time to celebrate our anniversary, and if you’ve never been, let this be your sign. They had our table reserved with an anniversary card, offered excellent service, served delicious food, and gifted us a complimentary dessert. 100/10 recommend and will be back!“

“We hosted a small pre-party in Dec 2025 in the Cellar of Just Tap'd before a much larger event across the street at the Macon Auditorium. The Manager, Janice, did an AMAZING job helping us plan our party and she was SO helpful and made everything for us SUPER easy! She was a DREAM to work with! We had a wonderful variety of drink selections and the food was delicious! Everyone had a TERRIFIC time and it's the perfect place for a small gathering!!! We will be back!!!“

“Will was our server and I highly suggest that you special request him he is the best I even called the manager to let him know how wonderful I thought Will was and how great the food was. I got the hamburger on rye with onion and I also got extra crispy onion rings and they were extra crispy with sour cream. “So, we were told by a waitress at another awesome Macon restaurant, to go to Ocmulgee Brewpub for the best burger in town...SHE WAS RIGHT!
She explained that another establishment tried to claim that fame but it just wasn't true.
The handcut fries were another highlight to this cheerful and fun
joint, that is not a watering hole alone, but a delicious place to refuel & have fun playing a board game or watching some sports.
Oh, and they do have gluten free buns, but they were out when we visited.“

“My experience here was very disappointing because of the customer service we received from an employee named Shay. From the moment my girlfriend and I ordered, her attitude toward us was noticeably different from how she treated other customers.

While taking our order, Shay interrupted us to answer the phone and take another customer’s order without apologizing or asking us to wait. When our food was ready, she simply left our plate on the counter without saying anything and never asked if we needed any sauces, even though I watched her ask other customers the same question. At one point, while we were speaking with another employee, Shay barged into the conversation with an unnecessary attitude.

Another employee actually had to step in and help us because of the poor service we were receiving, and that employee was polite and professional. Unfortunately, Shay’s behavior overshadowed the experience.

After we left, we called the restaurant to share our concerns. When Shay answered the phone, she spoke as if she was the manager and handled the call that way, rather than transferring us to a manager or letting us speak with one. That only added to our frustration because we were trying to provide feedback about our experience.

On top of that, Shay’s appearance didn’t seem appropriate for a customer-facing role. She was wearing a crop top with a black tank top underneath, which did not appear to reflect a professional workplace standard.

Everyone deserves to be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect. Based on our experience, we did not receive that. I hope management reviews this situation and addresses the customer service and professionalism issues so future customers have a much better experience.“

“Parking: Parking can be difficult during peak times. Share parking lot with a Mexican restaurant that serves incredibly delicious food. This can make parking a bit tricky, however it’s do-able and manageable with patience.

“I just wanted to let the manager of this location know that the man working the counter around 2pm today made my whole day. I waddled my heavily-pregnant self up to the counter and told him “I just need a large ice dream cup with as much strawberry topping as you can give me without getting in trouble”. He chuckled and confirmed my order, then made sure to see it through. He brought me the most incredible ice cream cup I have ever gotten from here, with perfect layers of strawberry throughout the whole cup. I know this is such a simple thing, but he really did make my day with his enthusiasm and execution. I wish I knew his name, because he definitely deserves praise for his customer service.“
