“I was recommended this place from a local restaurant. They have 3 pool tables in the back bar area along with darts. They had a show happening the evening I went so there was a $10 cover to get in. The drinks were good. The back bar with the pool tables was not crowded at all. It was fun.“
“This place has a very unique menu, which I like. There are many different things to choose from with appetizers and entrées. We decided to try the yeast rolls with the different types of butters. They were heavenly. They were hot and soft. In fact I appreciate the temperature of all the food. It was all very hot and fresh. I also got the macaroni and cheese and the bass. Those items were okay. I feel they both couldn't been seasoned more. The sunflower seeds on the bass was interesting. My boyfriend got the crab cakes, grits, and rice. I can't recall the name of the rice right now, but it was a fried rice. It was delicious. Probably the best thing we ordered, besides the bread. The host and servers were really nice and attentive. I would go by to try different dishes.“
“Update: (1st review was our experience at the old, upstairs location) This was a great date night experience! I loved that the space is limited for a few people at a time and you can hear the bartenders tell the history of the tiki lounge. We love to bring friends from out of state here. It’s a cool vibe.(2nd review new downstairs location) The new location has a lot of space. For me, it didn’t give the same vibe and ambience that I really enjoyed from the first location. When you walk in, you check in with the hostess, walk into the other side of the restaurant where there are chairs and tables for you and your partner or party to wait. When the light turns off, that means you can go down the stairs. There are a few round tables and extended bar seating. I am sure this is due to it becoming more popular and bigger parties but something places, in my opinion, should keep the same settings. That’s what makes it unique! But we did have a wonderful time and the libations were amazing!!!!“
“Local favorite. Have eaten here for years. Great food and service! Love that they have been able to expand too. It has helped accommodate such a busy/popular restaurant.Parking: Street parking spots with meters, but free depending on the time during the week and weekend. Stays busy so usually have to walk a little to get to the restaurant.“
“Went for Wed night Karaoke and had a blast. Crystal, our bartender, makes great mixed drinks. It's a fun atmosphere and the inside of the place was super nice. Chris Jennings, the owner, did a fantastic job redoing the inside of the place. I will be going back.“
“Daisy’s is my without question favorite bar in Macon. The Tequila is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my drink! The bartenders Rudie and Mary are also great and always efficient, happy and polite and makes the best drinks in town BY FAR! Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Daisy’s Tequila Bar to anyone looking for somewhere to hangout and have a good time in Macon.“
“We love Twenties. They bring in fun bands for the age group (21-99), they have very good food (like date night dinner and late night bar food), and the bartenders are awesome! Ashleigh is fantastic, is always fun, and makes you want to come back! She’s very talented and makes awesome drinks! I love the pot roast!!“
“We were looking for a nice place to eat dinner. We chose Your Pie and was very excited with our choice. We ordered three pizzas and got combo with salad and Gelato. It was wonderful and we will be back.Vegetarian options: Vegan cheese and lots of meatless optionsDietary restrictions: Vegan options availableParking: Lots of parking availableKid-friendliness: Kids menu available“
“My boyfriend has been coming to this place for years and he was so excited to bring me here and I totally understand why. We had a blast!! There are SO MANY pinball machines (dolly parton, hook, street fighter, so many more!) and all the classic retro games as well (pac man, street fighter, galaga, street racer, etc). The bar list was AMAZING! We spent a lot of time talking to the bar manager, Kayla, and she was so helpful and nice. My boyfriend is sober and she took a lot of time telling us all the sober and non-alcoholic options they have, and they have a lot!! That was such a nice surprise for both of us, because he usually just gets a soda. He got to try a nonalcoholic gin drink that he loved! I got a sour cherry gin drink that was the bomb.com.. not to mention, when I tried one of the blueberry bomb style drinks and Kayla poured my boyfriend some red bull for him to cheers with me. I really appreciated her thoughtfulness. They also have a handful of CBD and delta-8 drinks which we're excited to try next. Can't wait to play some games and enjoy this spot again!“
“I definitely love the high end Juke Box! It has just about every song known and you can choose to play the musical video the artist made for a particular song! I definitely love their Sundays Karaoke! Different vibe! Love seeing all people from every walks of life enjoy music together. Along with very friendly bartenders.“
“I ordered theEl Grande, side of beans, 2 shrimp tacos and 1 steak taco TO GO first time today 3:00pm. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. 29.99 for all w tax. ABSOLUTELY SO GOOD. I ordered the side of refried beans and I love the portion side to match the amount which was 2.50 cents. SO GOOOD. I’m one person but I will be coming back and I urge anyone that reads this review to give this place a shot. I destroyed the tacos and beans by myself I haven’t even ate the burrito yet. When I came for pickup I saw it’s really spacious inside but clean, and the owner I believe came out he didn’t make things awkward and treated me like I was there last week. And they gave me salsa and chips for free with everything WHICH IS AWESOME .“
“A.P.'s Hidden Hideaway is definitely a cool dive type biker type bar with cold beer, some surprisingly good food and live music out on the deck. When I was there the band called Big Mike and the Booty Papas and they were playing some classic old school type country that had me tapping my foot and feeling that joyful melancholy that only old outlaw type country can inspire. They also did a great version of the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic "Simple Man" (this song seems to be a mandatory song for many of the bands here in the South). I would definitely recommend a visit here.“
“This place is very nice... I would highly recommend it and there tacos are to die for as well as there lamb chops and rice.... I also heard the Cuban cigar sub was very good... Until I can get back there to try more. I highly recommend yall trying it. Excellent service Excellent food and the atmosphere is so lovely. I highly recommend this place. Plus my Son is the chef there Jacob Lafferty is the bomb dignity just saying“
“Best tables in a 100 mile radius. Owner and staff are amazing. It is run like a business is supposed to run. You can tell they care about the customer. It was my first time and I was so impressed with everything. Haven't tried the food yet but I hear the salad is top notch.“
“We're visiting Macon on our way to siesta key and did not want to eat at a chain restaurant and decided to go to a local bar and grill. We were surprised it was a pool bar! The food was very good and everyone was fun and friendly! The bartender was very efficient. Enjoyed this adventure!“
“Scrumptious food....I am here twice a week. Luke, Laura, Trisha and Jamison are awesome.HOWEVER, I came in on a Thursday to watch Thursday night football. Sadly, the response was..we are not a sports bar. I get the same response on the weekends. The funny thing is ...There is ALWAYS some kind of sports on t.v. w NO VOLUME!Are they too cheap to pay for volume? Just saying...“
“Fantastic!First, atmosphere! Walking in, you feel like this is a place where you want to spend some time. The deco is insane and interesting and fun to look at. But it is comfy and welcoming and nice to be in.Second, service. Great! They were insanely busy but very kind and attentive when they brought the food. Helpful if you had questions. Patient and charismatic when taking your order. Nothing more you could ask for!Annnnnd the food: Delicious. I think I could have made a meal out of the sloppy breadsticks and free refills alone. SO good! But the pizza was worth the wait! Covered to the edges, fresh, hot and VERY reasonable. I think next time I'll get it a little more well done but I have no complaints. At all.Go, take friends. Bring your appetite!“
