“The staff was so Friendly!! Especially our waitress who had red braids. She gave our dog bacon as we were waiting. The biscuits were AMAZING & my mom and I actually ordered 2 more. Very much would recommend and come back next time in Macon.“
“This place has a very unique menu, which I like. There are many different things to choose from with appetizers and entrées. We decided to try the yeast rolls with the different types of butters. They were heavenly. They were hot and soft. In fact I appreciate the temperature of all the food. It was all very hot and fresh. I also got the macaroni and cheese and the bass. Those items were okay. I feel they both couldn't been seasoned more. The sunflower seeds on the bass was interesting. My boyfriend got the crab cakes, grits, and rice. I can't recall the name of the rice right now, but it was a fried rice. It was delicious. Probably the best thing we ordered, besides the bread. The host and servers were really nice and attentive. I would go by to try different dishes.“

It has helped accommodate such a busy/popular restaurant.Parking: Street parking spots with meters, but free depending on the time during the week and weekend. Stays busy so usually have to walk a little to get to the restaurant.“

“The people are genuinely sweet and really care if you are satisfied with your meal. If you dine in someone comes up and ask if you’re good and need anything. The smoked wings are the absolute best in middle Georgia, cooked to perfection. The pizza is the jam, delicious. Have not yet tried their BBQ, but I’m sure it will not disappoint. “What a gem! I googled restaurants in downtown Macon and Cox's had the best reviews. We drove through a decidedly industrial area and were beginning to wonder where GPS was taking us. The Cafe exterior is rustic, but don't be fooled. Good people, good service and great food await. I had 2 eggs, scrambled to perfection and toast with coffee (good and hot). Jack had 2 eggs over easy, hotlinks, grits and biscuit. He prounced his meal delicious. If you're in the area, give it a try!“
“We almost always stop here as we're leaving for a road trip. It's not fast food but not slow dine in service either. For $15 you can get your choice of a type of seafood, chicken, fries, hushpuppies, and a drink and a selection of sauces. Absolutely delicious and a great deal to leave with a full belly. Can also order ahead of time by calling in or online. Looks from the outside are deceptive, but the service will make you feel like family without hurting the wallet.“
“Magnificent. Been going every Saturday for a year since finding this place. Best Cubans ever, amazing congi and fried sweet plantains are cooked to perfection. Their tre' leche' and flan is out of this world and service is impeccable.“

This place is busy at lunchtime time as all of the local pour in to eat. “On our last morning in Georgia - we have gotten around to trying a Waffle House. When we told our waitress Miss Penny that we lived in Idaho and had never been in a Waffle House before - she couldn’t hardly believe it. It was one of the most entertaining times I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I don’t think it would be possible to leave there without a smile on your face! There were at least 8 people back there working - and every one of them were dancing & singing to the music. And they were all thanking each other multiple times for everything they were doing for one another. It was the epitome of Southern Hospitality! “We really like the kids meals with our grandkids! The corn dog is a favorite, but they like the chicken and the burger too. The fries are delicious and hot, and the custard cup with the meal is a marvelous conclusion. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were courteous. A delightful experience!“

“My waitress was Miracle. Upon arrival, they were out of decaffeinated coffee and she made a fresh pot. My meal wasn't what I expected. The eggs cold. The steak ordered medium, it was well done and dry. Hash browns ordered scattered, smothered and covered.....served with one small slice of American cheese on top. All the food had a good flavor just not what I expected. My waitress was great and I appreciated her attentiveness.“
“The food is good. My favorite is the pork chops so far that I've tried. Green beans are amazing and I love the jiffy bread when it's available. My only complaint is I drive a good ways to see what he has because he doesn't post the menu on a regular. When I ask my sister is it posted via Facebook she usually says no and then will try to inbox for it. When u arrive some of the menu items are not ready. This has happened on more than one occasion. But they are super nice and friendly and I do recommend you go and try for yourself. They have breakfast that I hear is really good too.“
“We shared the special of the night which was a 16oz boneless rib eye that had a light parmesan cheese sauce, mashed potatoes, grilled broccolini and little shrimp on top of the steak. It was cooked to perfection and the was shrimp delicious too. The bartender knows her cocktail proportions so our drinks were very tasty and well balanced. We each had dessert. I had the special, which was tasty; however when I go back I'll definitely get the Cracked Pie! Highly recommend eating here.“
