“Was passing thru town and saw the action of people coming and going inside the restaurant. Stopped in and was not disappointed at all. Chicken Tenders were perfectly made to order, soft with a crispy layer of breading. Fried chicken was also very tasty. If you are a local or passing thru, stop in and give them a try.“
“We have eaten here several times and usually the catfish is very good. They were small and slightly over cooked tonight. The salad bar is limited but everything seems fresh and the coleslaw is some of the best. Hushpuppies are excellent as well! If you can get a lakeside table it's a nice view. Our server was excellent; however, it took over 30 min to get our entrees even though there were only a few people there. Prices are very reasonable.“
“If you’re up for a little adventure take a short drive to Shady Dale and enjoy a great lunch at Robby and Cindy’s Cafe.They’re only open for lunch (no breakfast Post-COVID).The Cheese Burger and fries meal (includes a drink) and Slop Dog meal (fries and drink) were fantastic!!Looking forward to making Robby and Cindy’s a regular place to frequent for lunch.“
“I just had some of the best fried shrimp around and they were very large and absolutely delicious. My sides were Cole slaw, hushpuppies, grits. Along with banana pudding and Diet Coke.All for $12.04!!!!!Amazing turnaround for this place. Shrimp and catfish are only served on Fridays for lunch. If they opened on Friday nights, they’d have to hire police for the traffic jam that would happen.“
