“THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO THE SOCIAL GOAT FOR AN OUTSTANDING EVENT HELD FOR OUR FATHER BRUCE VINEYARD SR FOR HIS CELEBRATION OF LIFE THIS PAST SATURDAY! IT WAS A HAPPY & AWESOME SEND AWAY, AND WE TRULY APPRECIATE ALL OF THE HELP GIVEN TO US DURING THE PLANNING PHASE AND DURING THE CELEBRATION. THE STAFF WAS SUPERB, THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT ALL THE WAY AROUND, THE UPSTAIRS AREA WHERE WE WERE WAS VERY CLEAN. JENNIFER THE RESTAURANT OWNER AND BERNARD THE KITCHEN MANAGER WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FOLLOWED THE PLAN WE DEVELOPED 100%. ALL OF THE GUESTS WERE VERY COMPLIMENTARY OF THE COURTEOUSNESS AND ATTENTIVENESS OF EVERY STAFF MEMBER AND THE QUALITY AND TASTE OF ALL OUR FOOD ITEMS AND BEVERAGES. WE HAD PRIME RIB, TACO BAR AND CHICKEN PASTA ALFREDO, ET AL. THANKS ALSO TO FRAN AND TRIPP MARTIN, THE PROPERTY OWNERS, FOR ASSISTING US WITH PEOPLE ENTERING/LEAVING THE CELEBRATION. “Came to Rudyboo’s last night for the first time ever and oh my goodness!! I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else now! The food was amazing!! Wings were great, fries were to die for and the celery was fresh! I think I found my new favorite wing shop!!“

“My husband and I stopped in here after a long day of traveling and the service and food were so good!! The two ladies Arianna and the name escapes me working the front register were so polite and friendly. They answered all the questions and made sure we had everything we ordered. This is how restaurant service is supposed to be and I'm so glad to see it still exists.
The food was amazing as well hot, fresh and full of flavor!! The restaurant was clean and stocked with a working drink machine and napkins and all that was needed. We will be back.“

“A nice little restaurant nestled in the downtown Covington area. Though the building seems historic, it was nicely decorated with a modern design. It is so nice to enjoy time with friends and even a date night with this environment. My friend and I both enjoyed our dishes. Though I can only speak on a few items, I can say that it is a very restaurant to eat at. It is levels above average and I know you can enjoy a nice experience here too.
Pecan crusted chicken 4/5 - Very beautiful and crunchy skin on top of a bed of lovely mashed potatoes and green beans. It may not have been the best fried chicken in the world, but it sure was very well done. Nothing out of this world, but very good enough to really enjoy. I don't believe they have this on the menu anymore, but it was definitely delicious.“

“Absolutely loved the Honey Garlic Wings Combo! The wings were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in an amazing honey garlic sauce that was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Every bite was full of flavor! Everything came together perfectly, making it a meal I would happily order again. Highly recommend to anyone who loves flavorful wings!“

“Food was hot and fresh. Service was a little slow but it was lunch time. Once the server got to us, she was good and we had no issues. The food was just as pictured and a great deal. We got the 3 for Me deal and had enough food to each have lunch and dinner! With tax and tip, I only spent $30 for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 2 drinks with unlimited refills.“

“Captain D’s in Covington, Georgia truly deserves recognition for being such an outstanding place to eat. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warm and friendly service that instantly made the experience feel inviting and enjoyable. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, making sure everything was taken care of quickly and correctly. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do.
The service we received was absolutely amazing—fast, professional, and filled with smiles. It’s refreshing to visit a restaurant where the employees are not only efficient, but also genuinely pleasant and respectful. Their positive attitude made the entire visit even better.
And the food was just as impressive as the service. Everything was cooked perfectly, fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The meal was delicious from start to finish, and it’s clear they put effort into making sure the quality is consistently great.
Captain D’s in Covington is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for great seafood, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It was a wonderful experience all around, and we will absolutely be returning!“
