“This is a well-established, quaint little restaurant that packs in the Southern hospitality!It certainly appears to be a hit among senior citizens/the retired population. They insured a full house Saturday (2/24/24) as my husband and I dined, and we've noticed this occurring each time we have visited.The customer service is fantastic!!! Shout out to our waitress, Bethany.The food is good, fresh and mildly flavored...just right. The prices are very reasonable, despite the inflation that's happening everywhere else nearby. It's very clean (even the restrooms), and that is important to us.My husband and I will continue to patronize this good business, and we recommend it to others.“
“Relatively new bar (couple of years). Food is delicious. Crowd is a little gruff, so is the Alabama fan bartender. They were sold out of our favorite tap beer with no explanation or apology.... the "Yeah, so what, take it or leave it attitude." We've only been once, maybe it was an off day. But overall, great sports bar with really good food !! We'll definitely be back.“

I found this place via a Google search and was initially a bit skeptical given the mixed reviews; however, I decided to give it a try ... and I'm so glad that I did.To begin, the service was great. Our server, Janelle was very attentive and ensured we were well taken care of. The food was prepared well AND presented well. Everything tasted great. We even had a chance to speak with the brunch chef, Quan, to extend thanks and appreciate for a meal well prepared.For me, my first experience at the Philanthropy Grill & Ale House was a great one, and I will definitely be returning.“

“A couple years ago I would’ve left a bad review simply because of the lack of service and how they never answer the phone but here recently it’s been great. I order to go food here alllll the time and have for years but I’m finally leaving a review. I looooove American deli and this location is GREAT! If you’ve never been and you go make sure you get the peach juice. The phillys are THE BEST and my husband loves their sweet chili wings.“
“last sunday i was in a minor car accident outside of the waffle house establishment. luckily it was only a fender bender. due to the “excitement” of the the incident, me and my three year old autistic son decided to get some waffle house to soothe our nerves. upon entering the waffle house i was hit with the most delicious smell of waffles and syrup. my sense were overcame by images of soft waffles drenched in syrup with a side of crunch toast and crispy bacon. i took my seat only to be instantly greeted with a smile. my son joyously sang along to the raisin toast song as it played over the loudspeakers. my waitress, ella, sang along with my son as she took his order. for the past three days my son has been asking when he can see ella again. i ordered the all star meal which was brought to me with haste. the tall blonde fella who cooked my meal made the best all star i’ve ever had. i took a bit of my waffle and gasped. the flavors melted on my tongue. the gooey syrup and soft fluffy waffle had my eyes rolling back in ecstasy. i don’t remember eating my meal due to the speed in which i had consumed it. waffle house, you have gained a new lifelong costumer. i am truly enamored with the gang of teen waffle house employees, the small bald boy, the green haired girl (ella), the petite girl with brown hair (hannah), and the worlds best grill operator.“
“So my husband, and two other couples attended atmosphere club tonight to hang out; the club had some super unique events Scheduled for the evening so the group that I was with along w/another group of acquaintance and joined forces; ww ordered food, and more drinks. All of which was phenomenal. Johanna, perhaps the funniest and most experienced bartender on the premesis had that once in a lifetime gift of being able to make any drink that was requested. We all truly had a fabulous time. Tne staff was lovely, and everyone one or then was competent. It truly was a great experience and I know all of us can't wait to come back. Thanks for providing us all w/an unforgettable evening, it was close to my home, staffed by highly competent people who took pride in their jobs. We will most definitely be back. “We just moved to the area and this was our first time at this location. The food was amazing. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. Our server Matt made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.“
“We came in at about 9:00. We sat for a few minutes until jazz came over and told us they were switching shifts and someone would be with us shortly. She went ahead and took our order and got our drinks. She then waited on us the rest of the time as the 3rd shift waitress didn’t show up until 9:50pm. The other waitress on shift with jazz was constantly complaining & talking about how she was leaving the place a wreck & walking out as soon as the girl got there. Jazz on the other hand, was as sweet as could be, not a complaint in sight & I overheard her talking to a guy that I guess had came in this morning & saw her & said “you’re still here!” And she said “yeah a girl called out on second shift so I stayed” so this means jazz had been at work from 7am and she stayed until right at 10pm & had no complaint in the world. She went above & beyond expectations & is the only reason we didn’t get up and leave like we saw 6 other tables do in the course of the 1 hour with no 3rd shift waitress. This Waffle House is missing out on a ton of money due to the lack of staffing, but jazz is incredible & because of her, we will return.“
“I visit this restaurant a few times a year when I'm visiting family. The employees are they best and are super friendly. I'm from Canada and when I do go there they always remember me and make me feel like family. The food is delicious homecooking style food.“
