“What a delightful experience we had from start to finish! The room is lovely, and the seating exceptionally comfy! Our party of 4 ordered a variety of items and loved all of them. Service was beautifully coordinated and timed. We were thrilled with the bottle of wine we shared, which was one recommended for the chef’s menu.“
“Traveling through town for a funeral, needed food. Saw this place on Google, had to try it. I have ZERO regrets. The meats were amazing and moist and delicious, the sauce was perfect, the macaroni and cheese was the best I have ever had. The service was top notch too. Prices were great, very affordable. Next time I am in town, I WILL eat here again.Parking: Lots of wide open parking“
“Classic 1950s diner atmosphere. Counter folk sincerely friendly. My order was not heard correctly, and I didn't check my receipt before paying. However, every effort was made to make my meal with my husband a pleasant experience, both with what we were served and the price we paid. We will be back!“
“Great meat and three style place. Plus sandwiches, salads. Breakfast in the morning. I think the plate lunches are the same every week, but maybe not. If you order off the sandwich counter and it seems to be taking too long, go ask about it. They "forgot" to finish our order and it just sat until we went and asked. At least they offered a dessert.“
“Omg! As I stepped in, a feeling hit me : happiness! That is a very happy place! Colorful and animated, inviting and, let's not forget, delicious!! The owner was there, incredibly friendly and helpful, the girls at the counter fast and ready to suggest something to reach your expectations! Lots of candy, chocolate, chocolate covered ..anything-so fun!! Clients in and out permanently. Oh, and the different types of cones...covered in chocolate, sprinkles, big and small for all wishes. It was worth the drive. I will surely bring my guests there, too!!“
“This place is truly a must eat at in Madison. My wife and I started with cocktails (Dirty Martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and an Old Fashioned). Both delicious! Had the Black Mussels for an appetizer. They were good but it was too much of a milk broth and no flavor of white wine or shallots. Also needed to be served with some hard bread to dip in the broth. Entrees my wife had the Salmon and I had the Ribeye. Both were incredibly delicious. Overall great service and meal, just wish the mussels were a little more flavorful.“
