“The food and service were really good. If you have never been there before and you open the door, it looks like you are stepping into your grandparents' kitchen with a little chaos, then someone tells you to sit where you want and to look at the specials on the wall. The dishes are just home cooking and not fancy but have good flavor and prices. Their daily special are especially a great value. You should give them a try. This is a breakfast lunch only restaurant. Check the hours. Enjoy!“
“This is my second time stopping and eating at this Waffle House and it was awesome both times. The waitresses are really friendly and willing to fulfill your every need as a customer. The food was just right, the way I like it. Plenty of free parking and atmosphere was really good too. “
“Great food served pretty fast but the food was hot. Fried Okra was hot and crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The best thing on the menu is the Trump burger. It is so big I have to order a second bun but it has two beef patties, Bacon, onions, lettuce ketchup tomatoes and cheese. So good. Service is great as well. Only thing I could ask is that they stay open a little longer. They close at 2:00PM“
“I love whole catfish but rarely can find it in restaurants these days. My meal was fantastic! At first I thought the hush puppies looked overcooked BUT I was terribly wrong. They were just as perfect as the catfish. I also bought lemon pepper wings for a late night snack tonight or lunch tomorrow. They look yummy and the seasoning taste delicious. I had great service. The lady and her son working there were a pleasure. I will definitely be ordering there a lot more often. This was my first experience and it was a rainy evening. I am one happy and full lady.“

“You need to stop here when in Barnesville if you want a superior BBQ experience. With a variety of proteins including beef, pork, chicken, and fish, you won't leave hungry. Sides include deep fried okra, baked beans, potato salad and more. All the proteins are carefully grilled and smoked on premise with the smoke from the grill magnetically drawing you in. I recently had pork chops that defied my historical view of a pork. Mama's Kitchen pork chops are called Neanderthal and they are just that. Big. Juicy. Tender to gently cut with a fork. Grilled and smoked to perfection. Like all the food here, these pork chops are the food equivalent of crack. Stop in and eat hearty!“
