I got the hamburger on rye with onion and I also got extra crispy onion rings and they were extra crispy with sour cream. “Fantastic place we were meeting friends in person that we had known online. Turns out the waitress was the niece of one of the people we were sitting with which was awesome. It had a cheers vibe lots of beautiful wood great space for us to spread out and laugh and cut the fool the food was delicious not a huge menu which was great so they could focus on just making what they had good we really enjoyed it the sweet tea was fantastic the waitress was on point and we were there at lunch time so that really said a lot we didn't have to wait long for our food. Just made you feel real comfortable in the restaurant like you were at home.“

“I got the Steak Fried Rice. The rice is a bit undercooked to my personal liking, but overall I think it’s good. Flavor is a bit bland, may need some pepper. The broccoli adds a good bit of moisture in each bite, good with the rice. Onions cooked to perfection, as well as the egg, carrots, and peas. I would order again. The portion is good enough for one as a meal, but would probably require some more food if sharing.“

Our usual breakfast stop is there, mainly because we can't resist the allure of their cheese grits and French toast. During our last visit, Mike Seekins, the owner and chief, took the time to personally come out and chat with us, even offering a couple of insights into the secrets behind his delicious cheese grits. Of course, he's not spilling the entire recipe, just a tip or two. What adds to the charm of Famous Mike's is not just the fantastic food but the super-friendly staff and the wonderful atmosphere they've cultivated. “Plenty of chicken, bacon and spinach on my sandwich. The fries sucked. I miss the fries they used to have. Bartender, Will, is a cutie and sweet as sugar, as is most of the staff.“

“So I had ad a fellow pool table next to us and he was whistling apparently at my fiance, then I went to the short glasses wearing security guard and told him I was being threatened, by the boy next to us , while she's moving to another table and the young punk kid said he wld use the pool stick, on backside of my head, old man...I tried to tell the security guard which was busy talking to a girl , instead of listening to our safety, that he wld check it out. Things escalated. We moved to another table, but he kept mouthing off. Me and my fiance have been going there for over 6 months. Then security guard stated, I'm forever barred from there. I thought that's what security guard is for, someone drunk, gets outta hand, so the victim is at fault, once again, he said I will lay this pool stick up against yr head old man..... Can't feel trusted in this establishment. I have spent about 2k there. And we were welcome, but not sure if I feel safe there, neither should u. Ben has always been a blessing, but anyone to say I'm not welcome without physical knowledge that I went to him , not Ben, to tell him about a situation doesn't make me feel safe. It's sad because we really liked yr place, but misconstrued words is a deal breaker. All we wanted to do is eat, couple drinks and play pool. Maybe yr security needs to stop trying to hookup and pay attention to couples coming in...all I got to say“

“Super chill ! We came in at abt 2 am and our server was named Robert ! He was awesome . Super friendly . Told us jokes from time to time and helped us with the menu and made sure we were taken care of all throughout our stay. He was the only person on the floor and taken care of Togos as well . Did amazing !“

“I work on the campus where Edgar's Bistro is located so I can literally call down to place my order and pick it up. That being said, Edgar's has changed a bit since I've been going there. The restaurant is now a student training facility. They are only open seasonally and only for limited hours. In the current quarter, Edgar's is open Wed - Fri, 11am to 2 pm. Also, the menu changes seasonally.This quarter, I have tried roughly 50% of the menu so far and everything has been good. The dine-in service is somewhat slower than calling ahead because everything is cooked to order... but again, they are students and they are learning. I feel it was a good dining experience.“

“I’ve been bringing my son here since he was a baby. It’s one of the few places that still has an indoor play place and one that is always being kept up with (unlike some others around town). Staff in the morning are always friendly and attentive. Especially the older gentleman (Anthony I think) who does the cleaning and pick up, he’s always working and very kind. I’ll continue to take my son here every chance we get!“
