“Great location in a great church. Always get service with a smile. If you go on celebrate recovery night get there early or you will be waiting in line for a while. I highly recommend the chapelchino and the pimento cheese and bacon sandwich which is basically a BLT with pimento cheese and spicy mustard.“
“We found this as we were passing through Macon and it was delicious. The pasta was fresh and I think the pesto was homemade with large chunks of chicken and bacon. The turkey sandwich had a great amount of of meat in it and the sweet potato fries were crispy. We loved eating outside on the sidewalk. Also... Jess was a great waitress“
“We we’re picking up dinner from ingleside pizza, we wanted something sweet, so we slid next-door to Oh Honey baking Company. We got a few pastries for the families which was good, BUT THE COFFEE WAS FANTASTIC!! I was not expecting the coffee to be as good as it was, just something to wash down the pastries but dang it was good!!! Definitely be back. Thank you for the good coffee.“
“Vegetarian options: Tomato mozzarella panini, grilled cheese, impossible breakfast sandwich(plant-based patty), potato cheddar & chive bakes.Kid-friendliness: My 6-year-old daughter came with me for the first time and paid for her drink and staff was great and helpful and very well accommodated, helped her place her order, and helped her process the payment. She was so happy.“
“Limited food options for a vegetarian, but, other than that a great spot for working. Very solid wifi, and, good spots to isolate yourself if needed. Very unique feel the to the entire place. The coffee is solid as well with more options than you'd normally see too.“
“Came to get a zoom call in one afternoon around 3 and was immediately greeted when I came through the door. I just had an iced tea but the barista was so friendly. Wifi was reliable and atmosphere was very calm and great for working. Parked right down the street with no issue.“
“I think I just found the BEST McDonald's in America. Seriously. I travel for my job 100% so I eat out a lot. And I love McDonald's breakfast, its the best. Well I came to this location a couple weeks ago and the drive through was packed. Maybe 10 cars. I didn't want to wait but I really wanted their breakfast so I decided it was worth it. Well to my surprise the line went SUPER fast. And the lady on intercom taking my order was so nice and polite. I was In and out in like 2 min. It was crazy. So today I wanted breakfast again and I remembered how fast and easy it was at this particular mcdonald's so I decided to go. Something this time when I get there today. Drive through was packed. Had 9 cars in line....but just like the time before I pulled up to intercom, the lady took my order, which she was so polite and kind. I had to tell her that I think they are the best McDonald's ever. She thanked me and I pulled up to the next window to get my food and again....the lady handed me my food was also so polite and kind. It's crazy, honestly. This team here works so well together. It's amazing. This is the way I wish every customer service based company worked. These ladies are definitely headed for bigger things. Thank you for the best service I've ever had.“
“My husband and I have a travel tradition of coffee adventuring. We find local coffee shops on our travel route to indulge in our morning cup. We scored by finding Z Beans in Macon today. The historic Macon downtown was worth the half mile off Hwy 16 to begin with. The little cafe was adorable, though not super cozy it was clean and super interesting with the owner’s story and pictures of the coffee farms in Ecuador. The girl who took my order was very helpful and knowledgeable. She managed my questions with grace. So we ordered the Cherry Blossom in honor of the past week’s cherry blossom festival in town. I am not a huge fan of fruity coffee but we were both pleasantly pleased. We ordered 1/2 the syrup and it was perfect. The espresso was smooth and clean tasting and not bitter. I recommend the half-mile-off-the route stop.“
“Having been a regular patron of Z Beans for over two years now, I can confidently say it's one of Macon's true gems. The coffee here is nothing short of excellent – a perfect blend of aroma and taste every single time. What makes the experience even more delightful is the exceptional customer service. The staff at Z Beans are not only friendly but also add a personal touch that makes every visit special. The location adds to its charm. Nestled beside the Cotton Avenue Plaza, Z Beans offers the ideal spot to savor a cup of coffee or a delicious pastry, especially in good weather. The outdoor plaza adjacent to the café provides a serene ambiance, perfect for enjoying the little moments of life. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a cozy spot to unwind, Z Beans on Cotton Ave is the place to be. Highly recommended!“
“We went there for a late breakfast and had wonderful bagel sandwiches. Love the fact that our sesame bagels had sesames on both the top and the bottom of the bagel, which we don't normally see at shops where we come from in Florida. The egg and the cheese that went on the bagel was just perfectly fluffed and I loved it. The only suggestion is I wish they would have a couple of tables and chairs outside during the nice months so you can sit outside if you have a dog or if you just want to be outside in the fresh air.“
