Awesome place to eat in and take out. My favorite it the smothered turkey wings (Delicious). The staff are courteous and helpful and service is fast. Definitely recommend.

You would think after waiting 30 minutes for them to make my food and another 25 minutes to pay my food would be fresh. It wasn’t fresh at all. The older man that does the sides is the only friendly one. The rest had attitudes and complained. This place isn’t nothing like it use to be! $27 down the drain!

The food is normally great but today someone decided to put a whole box of salt in the turkey legs and vegetables. The last thing that black Americans need is over salted food!!!!
Please cut back on the salt!!!!

It was gross. Really bad. I had turkey wings. The guy asked me rice or dressing. I said rice. Unbeknownst to me the rice was an extra side. It was some of the worst soul food I’ve had in a while.

This place is an experience. You walk in and there is usually some very touching gospel music playing while you wait in line. You get hungrier and hungrier thanks to the amazing smells of the foods. You get up to the buffet and realize there is so much to choose from and every bit of it looks delicious. This is true, authentic southern cooking. The kind that takes you down memory lane to Sunday dinners with the family after church. They've invested in this new location so it's much better than before but, you can tell it's a working progress. From time to time you'll find that someone might've gone a little heavy on the seasoning but usually, it's not a problem. You won't be disappointed by the service. These are very down to earth people. If you haven't tried it yet, you need to... you'll be back.

This food was so good. I had the collard greens, baked chicken with dressing, candid yams and banana pudding. When ever I'm in Macon, I'll definitely be stopping by. Shout out to the cooks and the staff working the line. I appreciate your smiling faces....
