I am a Captain Ds enthusiast and fancy myself a Captain Ds expert as this was my first job in high school. We frequently stop when traveling and I have had a range of experiences. This location was top tier. We shared a 4 piece with okra and green beans and every bite was perfection. The service was also friendly and fast.

Food was fresh and delicious 😋 but the corn on the cob was dry. This was the second time this has happened. I don't know why it's dry but it wasn’t like this before. The corn 🌽 was one of my favorite sides. It was juicy and delicious. Don't know what happened but please stop!

I would have gave it zero stars but I had to leave a store in order to leave a message this is the worst restaurant in Macon the young people matter of fact all the stuff including the managers are terrible at night time it is a jungle the place is dirty and filthy one night the trash can was on fire they need to close this place down or either get a whole new stuff and clean it up I don't understand why corporate is not paying none of these comments any of tension this place needs to be investigated it is terrible from the inside out

Just ate the worse grilled shrimp and fish I have ever eaten! I hope I don't get sick from it. I do have a stomach ache now, I hope it goes away with Tums. I guess they lost their long time cooks there who were great! My grilled shrimp was very chewy and the fish was hard. The rice was so watery it tasted terrible. My favorite captain d's in Macon will not be getting my business any more. Please get a new crew before the doors have to close.

I know everyone needs their job right now, but the Captain D's on Thomaston needs to clean house. I was on the phone with my son while he was ordering my food and the customer service was horrible! Not to mention the food was terrible and I paid $10 for this mess. Do better or shut it down!

We had grilled white fish plate with original seasoned , and grilled salmon plate with lemon pepper seasoned. Excellent food, seasoned and cooked to a supreme taste, even the rice and roll was perfect. Served with hot green beans or broccoli.

Purchased my meals on 10/04/2025 using the app. This is a regular place I frequented a lot. My food is truly good for the most part. On this occasion things went terribly wrong with the food. I chose to order something different 2 4 piece dinners one with broccoli and French fries the other one a baked potato and Cole slaw. Once I got back home bite into my food the fish had a different taste so I thought to myself maybe the oil needed to be changed. So I kept eating, I started on the Cole slaw and baked potato. Shortly after eating the coleslaw I thought I had had bursting on the inside. So i went to my bathroom a few seconds after entering my Jody felt like it was on fire my stomach begin to hurt. I could not move. Then about 30 seconds later I was hurling nonstop. I thought I was going to die. I do not drink or use drugs. That was not the issue. It was the food that cause my convulsions as well as hurling
These people were the unusual, they were nice and had an attitude of wanting to serve you hopefully that you would come back again.

When you got to have fish but are nowhere near the ocean, this is a good option. We occasionally find ourselves on this side of town and will stop in. Wish they had clam strips on the menu though.
