I am a Captain Ds enthusiast and fancy myself a Captain Ds expert as this was my first job in high school. We frequently stop when traveling and I have had a range of experiences. This location was top tier. We shared a 4 piece with okra and green beans and every bite was perfection. The service was also friendly and fast.

Food was fresh and delicious 😋 but the corn on the cob was dry. This was the second time this has happened. I don't know why it's dry but it wasn’t like this before. The corn 🌽 was one of my favorite sides. It was juicy and delicious. Don't know what happened but please stop!

Just ate the worse grilled shrimp and fish I have ever eaten! I hope I don't get sick from it. I do have a stomach ache now, I hope it goes away with Tums. I guess they lost their long time cooks there who were great! My grilled shrimp was very chewy and the fish was hard. The rice was so watery it tasted terrible. My favorite captain d's in Macon will not be getting my business any more.
