Hubby and I finally got a chance to try out this locally owned restaurant and indeed it was YUMMY!!! We both got the ribeye sandwich it was very tasty! the menu had a wonderful variety that we had a hard time deciding what to get. The service was warm and friendly by the owner and her staff and the place was super clean!!! It will be the first of MANY visits for us - can't wait to go back!!!

this was my first time in and it was all around a great experience. i ordered the steak philly, dumplings, and an egg roll. everything was great and you could tell they use fresh ingredients. anna, the owner (i presume), is very personable and attentive.i highly recommend yall stop by!

$15+ for a 10pc wing combo the drink is a small...for that price the drink should be a medium. This was my second time eating here still was not impressed.

Ordered online for pickup and our food was just being bagged up when we got there. Perfect timing. Everything was hot when we got back. The man working there, who I assume is the owner, was friendly to me.My girlfriend ordered the chicken tender meal with fries and I got the shrimp, chicken, and beef fried rice. She said the tenders were good and seasoned well. The fried rice was pretty solid. It was especially good with the house sauce. Couldn't finish it all, but it reheated well for lunch the next day.The inside of the restaurant wasn't the nicest, but it wasn't bad either. Good spot for a casual lunch or dinner.

We enjoyed a very good shrimp platter and shrimp/catfish platter tonight. Been here before and always very clean and polite staff. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend giving them a try.

First time trying City Cafe and was very pleasantly surprised. My boyfriend and I placed an order online for pickup. Our food was just getting bagged when we arrived, so it was nice and fresh and still hot when we got back home. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp, chicken, and beef fried rice with the house sauce and had all good things to say about it. I had the chicken tenders and bacon cheese fries and enjoyed both, especially the tenders. They were very well seasoned and paired great with both the honey mustard and the house sauce. Overall good experience.
I just had their fried shrimp basket. There were LOTS of deliciously fried shrimp in a light non-greasy batter. Large baked potato. I am a thought their coleslaw was one of the bestvI have eaten. It is also very clean and I enjoyed my experience.

The food is good, a little pricey but good food. The service is terrible, every time I have went only one person there. I tried to do a call in order was told to order online, there is a convenience fee to order online. When I got there I saw a bag sitting there, that was my order. The one man working was in the back cooking. When I got my food it was cold. Will have to think before I go back. If you have a set lunch break, go someplace else!

Just had my first experience here. I online ordered and my order was ready and hot in the exact time frame it gave. I had the shrimp po boy with fries and it was the BEST I have ever had! Will definitely be back!

Passing through town and searching the phone for a place to grab some lunch and ended up at City Cafe. Right in the throws of covid when no one wants to work. There were only two people working, a cook and a cashier but it was a great lunch, so it took a little longer, so what. We had the chicken fried rice and a philly cheesesteak, and not bad. Clean space, clean restrooms and locals dining there, never a bad sign. Definitely stop in next time through. Give ‘em a try. RTR
