Our waitress Octavia was efficient and courteous. This totally different than our last experience. Last time we waited 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. 25 minutes later she dropped the check at our table we hadn’t gotten our food. When we asked she said she would check and never got back to us. 20 minutes later we walked out. On our way out I told the manager what happened and he did not seem concerned that we were walking put. The only reason we stopped yesterday was because we have been frequenting Cracker Barrel for 25 years so we hoped it was worth the try.

Shakwan server was exceptional but food mix-up was terrible and getting it straightened out took time away from dining experience. It was not servers fault but person bringing food out. Then, mashed potatoes were not fit to eat so had to send back and get something else. My vegetable plate portions were so small and not worth the price. Not coming back to this location.Vegetarian options: too small of portions

While staying at the Hampton Inn in Macon, we walked over this Cracker Barrel. We’d had a good overall experience in Illinois so thought we’d go for it here. Happily, the building wasn’t freezing like the last one. Service was friendly and attentive. I was just bummed that my hash brown casserole dinner wasn’t good. The eggs were ok but the one I had in Illinois was much tastier with scallions and tomato and just a better cook on it. This one had a ton of greasy onion rings and cheese on it and no other toppings and the potatoes were a bit undercooked. I still gave the place a 4 because my daughter liked her burger and steak fries and my hubby enjoyed his roast beef dinner. Plus, the biscuits were good.Vegetarian options: Again this is not a vegetarian place. I mean the sweet stuff is always an option but for a meal, it’s tough.

This place should be shut down. Food was cold and couldn't even cut the pancakes with a knife. Told the waitress and she was like oh that's to bad can I get you something to drink to go. Told the cashier she was oh that's to bad. I'll let them know.

Cameron was great at serving us but the place needs to be cleaned. While eating you get the smell of the restroom. Mind you we were across and far from them but over all food was very bland

Our fries were undercooked. Hard on the inside. The mashed potatoes were also very cold and dry. I would hesitate to visit that particular location again. The location was not busy during our visit. So no excuses.
Usually I get good food. This last visit, today, was particularly bad. The chicken tenders were overcooked and so tuff that nobody could eat them. The cooked carrots were just too mushy. And the mashed potatoes looked horrible and tasted even worse. I’m shocked it was so bad.Maybe the regular cook called out or something.I will try this location again because like I stated they are usually pretty good.

Usually I am fine at a Cracker Barrel. Today I am spending much time waiting on grits and biscuits. They are supposed to already be prepared, right? One order of grits and 4 biscuits... 45 minutes.

The cashier was very friendly. The waitress was very attentive, with fast service. The atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. Everything was clean.Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat red meat so I was able to order breakfast chicken sausages which by the way were very delicious.Parking: I went to Macon Georgia to have breakfast and there were plenty of parking spaces and it’s free parking as well
