I have had many meals and desserts from Dawson Kitchen before and they were delicious, but today I returned an unopened cake which the owner said it was ok to do so via email to my wife.once I was there doing so ,I was treated with so much disrespect by the manager and a staff member, I felt like it had to do with my skin color they was talking so loud and saying how they’re losing money with this return, and even stated for us to not return to the store. I don’t see how or why It was a problem for me to return the order and because of doing so be told to not return when the I never cause a problem there ever or even open the cake at all. The purchase was $50 and our first ever returned item after shopping in the store over 10yrs now.

The sign says it all. It's a small country cafeteria style restaurant. I'm basing my review on food and offerings. Fried chicken fried right, not with all that breading. Real southern Mac& cheese i got the last spoonful and stilk nice crispy cheese layer. After you get you food($12.99 one meat 2 sides 1 bread) they bakery side is a sweet tooth paradise. I got my favs on one cookie: chocolate chip pecan. A lot of desserts and fresh veggies. Came for take out plate. No commercial atmosphere. Simple table and chairs decor.

Anytime I go to Dawson's its always good food, the menu changes daily so you can always try something new. Seating is kinda limited but its served in a Togo box so thats really not an issue.
Was there with a group. Small dining area but was ample for the day. Food was good, home cooking. The deserts are delicious-and they have lots of bakery goods and fresh produce to take with you. Not a fancy place, rustic more describes it.

The experience was very bad. I walked in there and asked the people that was behind the food service station how long the chicken was there and all of them responded. They did not know and I’m asking in my head and asking them. Somebody knows something where to cook cook told me that she did not have to answer. What the hell I was talking about And I told her where is the manager she got to me that she was the manager and I told her that I am the CEO here in the state of Georgia. They can answer to contract to perform any type of task and ask questions that supposed to be answered, and I walked around look for the manager. She was in there on the other side sitting down and she approached me very rudely she looked me up and down, and I asked her that why she don’t have tags on her her food to let me know how much how long I’ve been sitting there and I just spoke to her that her was very disrespectful curse me and this is my title. She is about the state of Georgia and she did not want to care about anything taught me to get out of store very rude. Very nasty. Poor customer service poor food did not have task did not have anything on it. Worst customer service I ever had and I would never go there again.

My wife and I had lunch with Dawson's Kitchen Owner and staff today. It was a pleasure as always to dine with Dawson's Kitchen. I know someone is saying why does he continue saying He dine with rather than at. Well let me tell you I have to speak this way when there are so many restaurants to choose from yet only a few that the Food, Service, and atmosphere is excellent. So when I give Shan my order and she makes my and my wife plate with the same love and care my mother made my plate as a child and adult. It's my mother Mildred who introduced me to Dawson's Kitchen. We will continue to support our Great local business. Thanks to the owner and staff of Dawson's Kitchen, thank you for your service, we appreciate you all.
