The experience was very bad. I walked in there and asked the people that was behind the food service station how long the chicken was there and all of them responded. They did not know and I’m asking in my head and asking them. Somebody knows something where to cook cook told me that she did not have to answer. What the hell I was talking about And I told her where is the manager she got to me that she was the manager and I told her that I am the CEO here in the state of Georgia. They can answer to contract to perform any type of task and ask questions that supposed to be answered, and I walked around look for the manager. She was in there on the other side sitting down and she approached me very rudely she looked me up and down, and I asked her that why she don’t have tags on her her food to let me know how much how long I’ve been sitting there and I just spoke to her that her was very disrespectful curse me and this is my title. She is about the state of Georgia and she did not want to care about anything taught me to get out of store very rude. Very nasty. Poor customer service poor food did not have task did not have anything on it. Worst customer service I ever had and I would never go there again.

My wife and I had lunch with Dawson's Kitchen Owner and staff today. It was a pleasure as always to dine with Dawson's Kitchen. I know someone is saying why does he continue saying He dine with rather than at. Well let me tell you I have to speak this way when there are so many restaurants to choose from yet only a few that the Food, Service, and atmosphere is excellent. So when I give Shan my order and she makes my and my wife plate with the same love and care my mother made my plate as a child and adult. It's my mother Mildred who introduced me to Dawson's Kitchen. We will continue to support our Great local business. Thanks to the owner and staff of Dawson's Kitchen, thank you for your service, we appreciate you all.

I ordered large quantities of mac n cheese, green beans, potato salad and several varieties of pies for a funeral and picked it up at 10:30 am before you opened. All of my family who are from several cities and states raved about how delicious the food was and kept asking where I ordered it from. My wife got a to go order for us. I had beef tips and rice with Mac and cheese and cabbage with cornbread and she got cream corn and broccoli casserole with turkey leg. We definitely loved. Our first time eating there definitely will be back.
***Update post***** I actually got 2 plates today 1 rib and 2 veggies. The ribs were overloaded with too much BBQ sauce which brings me to the next point. They were tough and flavorless. You don't have to overload Ribs with sauce to call it BBQ Ribs. Plus the greens tasted like the cooks did nothing to them. Basically poured them out of a can and heated them up. I would be looking for new cooks. And the second plate was a chicken plate which they advertised on FB to being good. Nope. No flavor it was like eating cardboard. You know salt and pepper or just something goes a long way. For 25.00 I'm not coming back here again. Oh and in the middle of what would be considered lunch they had no white meat. Thank God. I think it just comes down to the so called cooks. Like the place and atmosphere just not the food.

I visited the restaurant on January 17th for lunch. The food was disappointing. The fried chicken seemed to be cooked in old grease. The sides had no flavor at all and the pound cake was dry.
Lovely friendly service, my fried 1/4 chicken tasted so good, juicy with fresh tasting (peanut?) oil, my husband’s roast beef was fork-tender with lots of gravy, mmm mmm highly recommend!

The food was not great but not bad. Nothing special in my opinion. Didn’t get the cranberry sauce with my dressing that I was offered and I only got one strap for two drinks but overall, it was a pretty good experience. I would return.

Every Since Ms. Patsy left there, the food is garbage, 14 dollars basically for a piece of chicken, the greens come of a can and got a weird after taste, and the Mac and cheese got a sour after taste, this the 3rd I have been there since Ms. Patsy been gone, and I am not spending another penny there
