First time visiting the place , atmosphere was ok and the employees were friendly and helpful. Now the food, Baked chicken was ok , hash browns casserole had no seasoning and the pinto beans were mushy. Sitting/ dining area had a bad odor. For the price of the meal it was ever overpriced for the quality. Will not be returning. Very disappointed overall

This is the REAL thing! Cooked with love! We are from out of town and tried it out! The fried chicken is the best! Collard greens were good! Their Mac n cheese is authentic… not your typical orange stuff. Desserts!!!! We are going back tomorrow night! I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Ms Patsy! I just want to take her home with me! It was all so wonderful! Do take out for a large party. There are a few small tables in there. Quick in, quick out but we are so full! Have not tasted the desserts yet but bought some cake and pie to go!!!! Too full to eat right now! And their prices!!! So inexpensive!!! A treasure!

Awe Mann, where do I start, M MM MMM GOOD...5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My food was terrible. I ordered dark fried chicken, cabbages and broccoli casserole. The cabbages had to much black pepper and no salt. They were nowhere near done. My fried leg quarter looked liked it had been cooked two or three days ago. The cheese on the casserole was very dried out. I will not give them anymore of my business.

Food was bland as F. I don't get it. How can this place be treated so high, but not be any good? Been here 2 times and everything was bland as F. I mean they got two old black ladies in there cooking, so no reason for such bland food unless they make them cook straight from the directions. Or maybe they just catering to the old folks with not much taste buds left. For the price it definitely isn't worth it.

I've been coming to this place for years. They are always friendly and the food is always delicious. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because I do not like how they put bone in chicken in their chicken n dumplings. You have to sit there and fish the bones out of your mouth and make sure you don't choke on the small ones.
