One of the best Mexican restaurants in middle Ga! It's really good food, mostly prompt service, and a great atmosphere. A go to for sure!

Our server was not in a great mood and it showed in her service. When I ask for something she would send someone else with it. And I'm not usually one to complain because I'm in this industry myself. I ordered a chicken burrito as I've always done and it was totally different. It had very little chicken and gobs of onions and peppers. So I asked could I send that back and exchange it for a beef burrito instead of course she let me do it but her attitude said she didn't want me to do it and from that point on anything I asked for she sent someone else with it so for me to be in this industry it disappointed me greatly....

Went to get some food for dinner with the family. My girlfriend had a red hair in her enchilada that she pulled out from inside the enchilada. We told them about it not asking for a refund or anything and they were very rude saying that no one there has red hair and it couldn’t have been one of their employees. Ended up paying for everything and after that they took super long to give us our receipt and were exceptionally rude. Had to literally walk up to the counter and grab our own to go box. Food wasn’t even that good same as every other bottom of the barrel Mexican restaurant and the place was completely dead.

Never have had a bad experience here. The food is affordable, fast and consistent. If you are looking for your mexican food fix for the week, this is your new fav neighborhood restaurant hotspot.

I sat at the bar, had a drink, and placed a togo order. The server was nice but I'm guessing there was no bartender there that night. I had my drink and would have had another but no bartender behind the bar. ( Maybe they called out) I'm not against giving them another try. Again server was nice. The food was good. I'm not knocking them that was just my experience that day.
The food was good, except the Carne Asada is actually better at Mi Margaritas. But it wasn’t bad at El Sombrero. The main issue with El Sombrero is staffing. Our waitress was superb considering what she had to do. She waited on our table of 12 like a pro, but she also had to act as cashier, and take out. Therefore, through no fault of her own, since she was working the whole place, we had to wait on our silverware after we got our food, and it took three tries before I could get some salsa. I don’t think we’ll be taking a big party back there.

Everything is great I eat her at least twice a week they are so wonderful and the food is sooo good! the lime margaritas are soo good i go every Thursday to relax!! best spot on the eastside of Macon!
