Extremely horrible service my daughter and son in law went to this restaurant we are in the millennium. Had no disregard to to patrons after service. The server actually harassed them for a tip with horrible service. As a professional service as well as my husband owning a restaurant due to this candid behavior that followed up with hanging up in their faces as well as other family members in the regards of this unprofessional establishment. If I ever find myself in downtown Macon, Famous Mike's will definitely be on my radar. Our usual breakfast stop is there, mainly because we can't resist the allure of their cheese grits and French toast. During our last visit, Mike Seekins, the owner and chief, took the time to personally come out and chat with us, even offering a couple of insights into the secrets behind his delicious cheese grits. Of course, he's not spilling the entire recipe, just a tip or two.
