This place isn't open anymore Macon Ga

A little hard to find due to lack of signage (Tommy's Bakery). Cute spot! Clean and the young man present was very hospitable and professional. Meat Lovers for the man of house and Philly Potato for myself. Very tasty and a generous portion. Did not disappoint. My coworker recommended this place and she was right! 👍

My potato was Fantastic. The name of the place has changed. It's a bakery now & they make a Maple Bacon Donut that will knock your socks off. 🤤 Wish I lived closer but I will 4sure go there whenever I'm in Macon. Family Owned & Operated. Support Small Business's

Food was good, service fine...but there was an older black female that come outside and said we have to take the chairs at 730pm even though they are open until 9pm. She even started with the very set I was sitting in, although there were several other that were empty. I walked back inside to pick up order, her smirk remark was how can I help you, even though I had already placed an order prior and only was waiting for my other. She seemed shocked! Sorry I was an inconvenience sitting on the patio waiting for my order. She seemed over bearing with the younger staff that was doing a terrific job. I probably won't be back just because how off putting her demeanor was.

Food is awesome.. but I noticed the owner wearing the same gloves fix my drink, use the register, unlock the bathroom door for a customer then bag my food alllllll with the same gloves on. Yes, she's the owner not an employee. Definitely won't visit here again. Was my FAVORITE lunch spot due to hospitality, but health beats hospitality.

I walked into this establishment for the first time and was immediately greeted warmly. The manager walked me through some of their popular foods. I instead opted to get the steak teriyaki potatoe. It was delicious. But more than the delicious food and refreshing lemonade, was the southern hospitality. They really do have a personal touch here at this restaurant location. I definitely recommend you visit them today. I know for a fact that I will be coming back and I look forward to trying more of their delicious potatoes.

Great Food, But the Service Has Slipped Lately
When The Potato Factory first opened, I was hooked—delicious, creative potatoes and great service made it one of my favorite spots in town. The food is still amazing, no doubt about it. But lately, the experience hasn’t been the same. I’ve shown up before 9 PM only to find them closed early, or gone to order and they’re out of just about everything. I’ve also tried calling before 6 PM to place an order, and either get no answer. I truly want to keep supporting this business because the food is worth it—but I hope they can get back to the consistency and customer service that made them stand out in the first place.
