I walked into this establishment for the first time and was immediately greeted warmly. The manager walked me through some of their popular foods. I instead opted to get the steak teriyaki potatoe. It was delicious. But more than the delicious food and refreshing lemonade, was the southern hospitality. They really do have a personal touch here at this restaurant location. I definitely recommend you visit them today. I know for a fact that I will be coming back and I look forward to trying more of their delicious potatoes.

Great Food, But the Service Has Slipped Lately
When The Potato Factory first opened, I was hooked—delicious, creative potatoes and great service made it one of my favorite spots in town. The food is still amazing, no doubt about it. But lately, the experience hasn’t been the same. I’ve shown up before 9 PM only to find them closed early, or gone to order and they’re out of just about everything. I’ve also tried calling before 6 PM to place an order, and either get no answer. I truly want to keep supporting this business because the food is worth it—but I hope they can get back to the consistency and customer service that made them stand out in the first place.

Food was excellent. Quality of the food was on point. But I must say customer service was even better . Rodney made me feel welcome and I will continue to shop there.

Stopped in for lunch and got the chili cheese potato. The guy working, Rodney, was super friendly and the food was amazing. Only reason I put 4 stars is because the price isn't the greatest, but don't let that stop you from checking it out.

Smelled like pot so bad. I'm not one to judge but I have a feeling that's why it took 30 minutes in the drive through line from the time i ordered until the time i got my food, which was honestly subpar at best.

Edited to add: at no point did I slander anyone. I stated my opinions, which are based on my experience. Here is another opinion to add to the ones previously stated. Making excuses rather than being accountable for a bad experience is in no way customer service. Now, this is just a thought, but maybe a lack of accountability starting at the top has bad results.

Keep making excuses. You are clearly better at that than you are making food. If given the option, I'd have rated the excuses at least two stars.

Would be nice end they'd answer the phone. I do t live close so know they have what I want or not in stock would be great. Made a trip there before and they didn't have shrimp available so that was a wasted trip. Answer your phone please so I can spend some money.

Great fast food option. It was fast and it was real food (unlike some chain restaurants). The service was fantastic which results in the 5 star review. Also, a generous portion of food. Note single cup coffee maker in photo for reference.

My husband and I were super excited to try this place out. The potatoes were soooo good but soon after eating mine, I got really sick. My stomach started to kill me and I wound up vomiting and had other food poisoning symptoms. My husband also had stomach pain but not as severe. This was super disappointing as the food was actually so good. I’m sure it was a one off experience and I would like to try them again one day. I definitely still recommend. I had the Buffalo Chicken and my husband had the BBQ Pork.

The potatoe I purchase had too much cheese old broccoli looks to be frozen . The pound cake not good at all .Never going back .

Went here for the first time and was blown away. Immaculate service and the food was fantastic. Cute and friendly atmosphere, a must visit if you’re near the university. Will definitely be coming back!

Can speak to the food as you need to be aware of the time. Walked in at 8:20 on a Friday from the Marriott next door. As I was abt to order they said you can order but have to claim the food from the drive-thru windows as the lobby closes in 10 minutes.

Y'all, this is THE lunch spot in Macon. First, the owners are so sweet and patient. They took plenty of time explaining their most popular potato items! You can feel the love they have for the community and their business in every word of conversation with them.

Secondly, the amount of food you get for the price is exceptional! It's all so fresh tasting and of good quality. The Philly Cheesesteak is phenomenal.

They also have a drive-thru!!

Well done, Potato Factory! You're my new favorite lunch spot!! ?

Got the privilege to watched 1 of the owners teach a new employee on the register. Very professional and such a nice environment. I have came here for about 8 months now and I love how the food taste and how they treat their employees. Also they have a 100 on the health inspection!
