In the past 2 years, I've tried to eat here 3 times.First time tasted like soap and I got terribly ill.Second time was fine.Third time, again, I got incredibly ill and almost went to the ER.I don't like being negative. But twice I've had food from here that made me more than just simple food poisoning level of sick. The third time i ate there was on a friday, symptoms occured several hours after: My temp skyrocketed, I had tightness on my chest, I was dizzy, I had abdominal and back pain, I was bed ridden for an entire Saturday. I was still not 100% the following Sunday evening. The lady at the front is very nice. Her service is a 5. But the service from the kitchen or maybe old ingredients, I don't know, deserves a 1.

Good place for quick chinese food. Price is decent, food is so much better than most. No msg so that's a big plus. We tend to like our meals with less flavoring than most and will go out of our way to ask for it. The atmosphere is your basic run of the mill Chinese fast food... But they have a buffet for lunch (not sure if it's active post-COVID but the bars are still there)... Good has been pretty good there and we really enjoy their mei-fun (thin noodle dish with proteins and veggies). This restaurant can cater to more vegetarian seekers so it's easy to tailor to your needs. The hot sour soup is delightful... But as mentioned before, we like it more bland, so we tend to water it down when we get home. Definitely worth a try.

I ordered the sesame chicken today and it might be the best I've had. The chicken was practically perfect. It still had the satisfying crunch fried chicken is known for. (Most places the chicken is just soft) The taste was on point. Hoping this wasn't just a fluke and next time I come I can get the same satisfaction.

Dine in is still shutdown from Covid but everyone orders to go cause it is well worth it. Husband and wife have been cooking awesome Chinese food in this area for over 25 years. Always fresh to order.

Everyone needs a good, local Chinese food restaurant close to home and that's Hong Kong Garden for us. We have never had a bad experience here - everything is fresh, hot and the service is truly quick - ready when they said it'll be. I love this place and it is a go-to. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

My family has frequented Hong Kong Garden for over ten years, with it being one of the few convenient restaurants in South Bibb. We ordered food from Hong Kong Garden on 6/20/23 totaling $30.40. Being frequent customers, my husband declined a receipt after purchase (Big Mistake #1). On 6/21/23 I noticed that our card was charged twice, with the second total being $29.32. My husband returned to Hong Kong Garden on 6/21/23 and discussed the error with the owner. She tried to convince him we ordered twice, in one day, which we knew was not true. Finally, she says if we bring her our bank statement showing the double charge, she would correct it. Soon after, my husband returned to Hong Kong Garden with a redacted print-out (because our bank information is personal and none of her business, outside of correcting her mistake) of our bank statement showing the double charge (Big Mistake #2: wasting time entertaining this mess). She states she wants our official bank statement from the bank (not a personal print-out)! At this point, I'm done with participating in this "scam" or whatever she/they have going on. The food is okay, my husband likes it more than I do. But they have lost long-term customers over their own mistake and I don't want anyone else to fall victim to their questionable business practices. Just be aware...Food Rating: My husband gave it 3 stars. My rating would be 2.Atmosphere Rating: Plastic up for Covid precautions and one table for in-house dining. It's really more of a takeout establishment.

It’s very expensive. I don’t mind paying a premium price to support a local restaurant but I expect some quality ingredients. The chicken is all breading, grizzle and fat with almost no chicken meat at all. I also tried a beef dish and it was just as bad. I paid $15 for General Tso chicken and it was inedible. I won’t waste my money here again

The quality of the ingredients is sub par. The chicken is stringy and mostly fat, skin, and grizzle without any meat. The rice is horrible and the vegetables taste frozen.

Never disappointed in food or service. I usually get orange beef with fried rice. I can eat on it for 3 days their servings are so generous. Best in town hands down!
