It is a great treasure in Macon, Ga. The pizza is so good and I have never had a bad meal there.

My fiancé and I have driven by this place a few times and finally decided to try it. We ordered a pick up order for a medium half cheese half pepperoni pizza and a side of bread knots which had cheese, garlic oil and a side of marinara sauce to dip it in. When I got to the pizza shop they had made the wrong pie but they were very friendly about making another one so we weren’t upset about that.
The pizza itself tasted good and we both enjoyed it. The only downside to the pizza itself was it was so greasy. The parchment paper in the box had so much grease you could see the individual slices on pizza on it. The bread knots were ok and definitely tasted better with the marina sauce than by themselves.
I would definitely say stop by and try a slice of pizza from here and hopefully a single slice won’t be as greedy as the whole pie we had was.

Never been here because they dont have gluten free :(
I will never return to Ingleside Pizza…. I ordered pickup (first time going because I heard the pizza was good) when I got there it was a few peoples in line but when it was my time to be waited on they disregarded me and acknowledged me. Ask what I needed, or anything just looked over me. It seems they had a problem with my ethnicity. If they had a zero in the ratings, I’d have put zero.

Been wanting to give it a try since moving here a year ago, it was wellll worth the wait! We will be back much sooner! Price was fair and we let them know a pick up time, and it was right on time!! Fresh, and hot.

Sloppy bread sticks - were disappointing, there were several pieces of bread with no seasoning at all and the bread and seasoning itself were strangely tasteless. The highlight was the fantastic pizza sauce that came with them - first time I have ever liked tomato pizza sauce. IMO, save your $2 for sloppy and spend a quarter for extra pizza sauce.
Pizza - large cheese and double pineapple (It was ordered for me, not by me, I would have done it the other way around) Toppings were very generous and I did consider it double pineapple. Same tasty sauce. Cheese was plentiful but again somehow bland. Crust was hand tossed and crispy, cooked perfectly, yet also sort of bland.
Soft drinks are self serve Coke products or iced tea.
Service was great, friendly and attentive. The wait time was reasonable since we got there when it opened at 11:00 on Wednesday. Prices are reasonable for pizzas.
Atmosphere is funky pizza restaurant vibe with mixed light fixtures, local and donated stickers, photos, neon signs, and pizza memories. It has concrete floors with wooden benches, metal tables and chairs so the noise level is high.
Parking is a few spaces in front and on the side of the building with a fenced lot in back. Back lot is decorated with tricycles, chairs, and pizza screens
Overall, if I come again, I'll get regular bread sticks, extra pizza sauce, a pineapple and green pepper pie, and bring some Penzey's Justice and pizza seasonings. It's worth coming again, but out of the way for me. Pizza would be fantastic for kids who don't like spice.
I must say that I share the owner's history with Domino's Pizza and think she made fantastic strides over their sauce!! I was just a bit sad the dough wasn't more flavorful because it is cooked perfectly.

Have been eating this pizza since they opened across the street 32 years ago. Been to Chicago and New York and this is still the best pizza I've ever had. Even if it wasn't for the nostalgia factor it would still be the best. It's called New York style but Ingleside is it's own style. Definitely a must eat if you live or visit Macon.
Parking: Lot behind the building or plenty of spots on either side of Ingleside.
Kid-friendliness: A lot going on inside with the decor. Kids will be looking at stuff the whole time and they have dough for kids to play with.
Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spots right in front and ramp in front of the entrance.
