I dined at Jim Shaw's for the first time in over 40 years on a recent business trip to Macon. The food is as good, if not better, than ever! My grilled salmon was perfectly cooked and the accompanying squash casserole with lima beans made it heaven! The service remains friendly and wonderful!

My daughter and I visited on a Saturday night, and the wait was about 30 minutes (to be expected). But the wait was well worth it! We ordered fried pickles and oysters as appetizers. The oysters were amazing, but the fried pickles lacked some flavor. My daughter ordered the tilapia and said it was very good. I ordered the snapper (blackened) and it was very good. The seasoning was spot on and the fish tasted very fresh. The fries served hete are unique and incredibly well done. I highly recommend visiting!
