Two Kroger employees walk out of Kroger right down the middle of a parking aisle, parking on either side. I'm in a big truck they could not step to the side to let me go then stopped as I waited. Then headed to the cart corral, finally out of my way. Not a big deal I guess they were in a hurry to get carts. I parked at the far end took quite a few parking spaces because of a big truck. I walked into the store. I got to see what they were in a hurry to do.

Insufficient staff and inadequate training.

This review wouldn't have any stars if that was an option. I shop several times a week, one time a week at night around 8:30-9:00. I had a buggy full of groceries and there wasn't one cashier. I had to check out myself. I'm with the one reviewer that said that their money is just as good as the people who shop during the day. I should be given the same courtesy of having a cashier. I couldn't even find a manager or anyone to complain. Nobody was at the front desk. I find this store to be poorly managed. I don't think it would of done any good to complain anyway it seems like most of the people who work there have a I do not care attitude. This store seems to be going downhill steadily. The only reason that I keep going is because I basically know where everything is located, otherwise I would never go back
Rearranging the store. Seem to be out of a lot of things. Should be nice when they're done.

The manager David was rude and refused to help me. All I wanted was to reload my GreenDot card. For some reason, no one at this store seemed to know how to do that. He first told me that they don't do that at Kroger. Then he backpedaled and told me the machine wasn't working tonight. Then he asked me to come back in the morning because the morning staff was trained on how to do it. Meanwhile, I was at the store for over 35 minutes trying to get someone to help me. David never once brought me to a register to try to load my card. He had every excuse in his pocket to not work. Never was apologetic and was visibly irritated that I asked for the manager to help me in the first place. I regularly get my card reloaded at Kroger. This was ridiculous. Lost me and my family as customers.

This has to be the smallest and busiest Kroger in Macon! The selections are fair. The lines are always long. The employees aren't quite that friendly. There's a Kroger gas station on site. Honestly the only time I choose this location over Forsyth Road is when I need to get gas.
Everything Croissant ? ??
2 cashiers open for the whole store.
