I came away with the impression that they are over priced for low quality of their food. The Jam Pups were good, but we payed 8 bucks for only 8 tasty rice balls. I ordered the Salmon burger. I could not taste any salmon. The service and atmosphere were fine.

My son suggested this place. He lives in south georgia. We live in metro atlanta. Stephanie was our server. She was on top of her game from start to finish. The food was great. Atmosphere is pleasant even when sitting in the middle of the room. Food came out quickly for ALL 7 people at our table. Everybody got something different and NO ONE was disappointed. Definitely going back.Parking: $2.30 for 1.5 hours during the day.

Great local seafood restaurant. More than enough choices to satisfy your tastes. Had the Trifecta baked oysters, Jam pups (jambalaya hush puppies), scallops, gumbo and a jambalaya dinner. Everything was excellent....will definitely be back next time through. Had a chance to talk with Lee the owner and Macon is lucky to have a locally owned restaurant that cares about bringing good food and a good time to the area. Thanks again, Lee we loved our meals.

Great server, helpful suggestions. Overall great experience. I ended up getting three dishes with shrimp. Guess that's what I was craving! Lobster and shrimp bisque was very good! Buffalo shrimp was just ok. Good portions. But I was also saving room for shrimp and grits. A must when in Georgia. It was good, but only negative was that the shrimp were not cleaned. I've never had to clean them out myself at the table. It might be a personal preference but it's rare to me to get a shrimp dish where the shrimp are not cleaned. I know, I'm not going to die eating shrimp poop, but I'm not interested. If I was in town another day, I would not hesitate to return. Great looking menu.

I ordered the fried grouper platter with string beans and creamed spinach. I wanted the slaw, but I don't like blue cheese dressing in my Cole Slaw. Our waitress was very friendly, patient and efficient. I was eating with 11 people for a birthday celebration. I do not prefer to balance my food on the lips of the table to keep the food from falling into my lap. The host greeted at the door with a smile. We didn't order desert because the appetizers had everyone full.
Always feels welcoming with great service and the fried shrimp is awesome! I enjoy the larger beer menu to go along with the fried food. Decor is really cool and themed.
1 star solely because of the white man with the bald spot & glasses at the front. He made sure to greet all of the white customers politely, but had an attitude with us and barely said a word when we entered and left. sad world. won’t be back!

The food was alright but the service was terrible. Not one staff member smiled the whole time we were there. Our waitress was an emotionless robot. The owner/manager brought us our drinks and didn’t say a word. Placed them on our table and walked away. It wasn’t busy. Feels like a toxic work environment.

We were surprised by the high reviews as the food was not well seasoned and there was dust on the floor which was discovered upon dropping a menu between the table and wall.
