Everything about this place is good, but not the food quality. I learned the hard way. Basically & to cut straight to the chase, if u want or like food poisoning, come here!! Sad part, this wasn’t even my 1st choice. My 1st choice for Mexican food was closed for the week, because they’re celebrating easter. The staff & bartender were very attentive & friendly. I ordered the house special to dine-in(steak & shrimp over grilled onions) & 3 steak tacos to go. I work for the railroad, so im only in town for a 1-2 days, & I dont have a personal vehicle here. So I usually have to walk 15-18min to the downtown area to grab some food. I finished my dine-in meal & headed out for my 15-18min walk back to my dorm. Not even 5min into my walk, my stomach started bubbling. I picked up my pace & barely made it back before I exploded. This was about 6:45pm 2/29/2024. I almost just threw the steak tacos that I ordered to-go into the trash, but decided to wait a few hours before testing them out. My train back to ATL was called at 3am. So I ate my 3 steak tacos during my van ride from the dorm to the train yard (about 10min drive). By the time I got on the train & settled my equipment, my stomach was bubbling again. I told my engineer that I had to get off & use the restroom in the main tower. As I departed the train I started throwing up everything. I finally made it to the restroom I and managed to get all of that garbage out of my system.. I felt like a new man within 5min. Never AGAIN will i come here to eat anything!! luckily we stopped at a quick trip before getting to the yard & i grabbed some snacks & food off the rollers. My stomach held that down perfectly, so I know it was Morelia’s food!! Im never returning here! Not even for a million bucks!! Well, maybe for a million bucks ?….

We went as a group of 3 to celebrate my aunt's birthday! It was Cherry Blossom weekend so parking was a mission. My mom is on a scooter so zooming by in the rain was a necessity. The restaurant is very inviting and lively. Colorful in Mexican tradition with Hispanic music playing in the background. There were so many option on the menu, it was hard to choose. Our server gave us many suggestions and all the food she suggest was WOW! We ate two orders of Salsa, queso dip and nachos! My aunt ordered the Texas fajitas platter( steak, chicken and shrimp) this included rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, veggies, cheese and tortillas. She could not get enough. My mom ordered the Molcajete with all the meats( steak, chicken, chorizo and shrimp) with tortillas and fried cheese....it's A LOT of food! Obviously we helped her eat it. I got taquitos fritos de barbacoa. They were covered in crema, cheese and avocado. Delicious! I was so full. This food is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've eaten at. Everything was prepared to perfection. Nothing was missing. My mom, aunt and I are not huge fans of Mexican food. We are still raving about our meal! We paid $100 bucks for 3 people and we had drinks! No regrets for sure. The Texas House Margarita and my Texas Mango Margarita was YUMMY but potent! My aunt's complimentary birthday shot made her evening. We almost carried her to the car but so worth it! Can't wait to go back and try the other platters. The cups our Margaritas came in were so adorable we purchased one. Thanks!Wheelchair accessibility: My mom is on a scooter and this place is handicap accessible. A little ramp is available to enter.

This is the sort of restaurant where you order chips and drinks while yapping to whoever you're sitting with while never ordering food for a reason.

Very good service, super cute and friendly waitresses, but the food has absolutely nothing to do with being Mexican or from (Morelia) the cold tortillas are stiff and greasy, the rice in the dishes is really cold...! The fish dish is all scales and really cold, the food is not good at all, everything is really cold and without. They taste the name of being MEXICAN...! (It takes an hour to give you the dish) it arrives cold..!and everything is heated in the microwave apparently!!?I invite you to go..!?

Disgusting food is definitely not original and horrible service. I have never been treated this horrible in any restaurant I've ever been in. Just to change juice was a problem or soda because it was flat. I mean any little thing. Let's just say they need a class on customer service.

I have been in many Mexican restaurants Due to being one of my favorite food, I thought the 1 in Helen Georgia had the worst service & food but this place takes the top at 100 percent. Went with family of 6 for lunch and stating with the waiter she was having a bad day or had a issue with a customer previous to us or just don't like her job. The juice that was order is a typical Mexican juice that was water down with barely any tasteand and the soda was flat, When we told the waiter about the issue and trying to get something else we got a unhappy look and we noticed she was upset, a lady which I assume was the manager came straight to us saying there's no more juice and what if she fills up the cup with another drink and some one don't like the taste. My family and I got uncomfortable and upset at the way we got treated right away from the staff, I told her apologies for bothering them and we want to cancel the order and pay for the drink. As she right away turned around to walk back she said more than happy to charge, after waiting for over 7 minutes we finally got the check of $27.88, which was the most expensive drinks I've ever pay for in a Mexican restaurant that really is no more than $18 to max $20 dollars.

Stopped here with a coworker as we were in town for an event and were pleasantly surprised. I got the birria quesadilla and it was delicious. She got the birria tacos and liked hers a lot as well. Forgot to take pics. Place was not busy at the time we went and the staff was attentive and friendly.

Love this place! Quick service, great food, and charming glassware for their bar decor. I have had many of the dishes on the menu and have never been disappointed. Make sure you check out the specials menu because they usually have great temporary dishes too.
