Had our first cake from Layers Easter Sunday! It had buttercream frosting with malted eggs on a vanilla cream cake! All I can say is “wow”! Everyone at table was speechless! Can’t wait for my next one!

My family has been coming since they opened and fell in love with not just the amazing creations they offer but with the lovely family making it all! It’s me and my mom’s favorite little adventure to stop by on our way home from being out and talk with our wonderful friends behind the counter. They made my birthday cake a few months ago with their pears & cheese cake and it was a massive hit with everyone (and my personal favorite of theirs)! You can’t go wrong with any of their choices. Every time we try a new seasonal flavor we adore it! Surprisingly I am almost never a cake person since most cake tends to be so dry and crumbly. But that all changes when it comes to Layers! Their cakes have such a perfect texture and moisture level, and even their sweetest desserts are never so overly sweet it’s off putting, like so many sugary treats tend to be. You get actual flavor, not just sweetness! You won’t find another perfect balance like they’ve got down. My family has always personally shared in the excitement every time we see them win yet another very deserved award. We are so thankful to have a neighborhood bakery where we aren’t merely made to feel like friends, but actually are.

After waiting almost a year to finally try these cakes I must Say the Cake exceeded my expectations !!! 10 Layer Chocolate cake , strawberry cake , and White Velvet are my new Go to’s !! So worth the price ! I cant wait to go back !
