My spouse and I came down for dinner during our hotel stay. The location in historic downtown Macon in Hotel 45 is beautiful and interesting.
We shared the cauliflowers app, which came whole on a shared plate. The red pepper sauce was worth licking the plate for, though I refrained.
My spouse had two creative and tasty drinks off the cocktail menu a Reddy Teddy
and a Blue Sky. If you don’t mind a spicy cocktail, get the Reddy Teddy and raise a toast to Otis Redding.
We both enjoyed the airline chicken, and shared the chocolate ganache cheesecake.
Service was friendly and helpful.
Loom should have more than a 3 star average rating on Google. Come check it out.

Kendrick was exceptional. We enjoyed the experience on a road trip south.
The food was excellent. Pork chop cook to slight pink perfection. The salmon skin was crispy, the flesh perfectly executed. The rye based Manhattan s were outstanding. Maybe the surprise were the collard greens which I have never enjoyed, but I would order these again, and again.
If we pass this way again we will take the slight detour to Loom

Amazing brunch! The avocado toast was packed with flavor, and the poached egg on top was cooked spot on. It takes some skill. Service was friendly as well.

7:30 reservation for dinner. Was seated and told the server would be right with us. 15 minutes later we hadn’t even seen a server in the dining room, and the restaurant only had about 9-10 people in it. Right about the 20 minute mark, the server comes out and waits on a table that was seated after us!! Then she disappeared again. I went to the hostess who was standing by the bar and talking with the bartender. I stated we had been waiting for 20 minutes for the server to come out and wait on the table sat after us. They apologized and the server came to our table soon after. Took our order and brought back my drink, but not my wife’s. I thought maybe they needed to go get it from the storage room. 5 mins go by and nothing. I go up to the bartender again and ask about her drink. He states they had to go get the bottle of juice. I sat back down. 2 mins later I watch him walk around the back and come out with the juice. When I tell you that’s the worst service I’ve seen in a long time for the caliber of restaurant it’s supposed to be, it was awful!! I’ll never go back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. Don’t waste your money on this place!

The salmon and potatoes was good for dinner. The chicken sausage was very tasty! The chicken wings were undercooked and I had to send them back. They also seem a bit understaffed. They need to fix a few things but the staff was nice.

We stayed at Hotel 45 for a short overnight. In a hurry, we ate at the Loom for sake of convenience. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience. Our server Stephanie was outstanding, personable, and attentive to detail. I also noticed from her interaction with other customers that she was both patient and accommodating. The food was excellent. I am looking for an excuse to travel through Macon again.

I know this is cliche but I hate to leave a “bad review”. Because this place is pricey and I look at reviews when making decisions I think it’s important that people have an idea of what to expect. This place advertises as “Fine Dining” with a chef well…the food was mediocre at best and over priced for what they offer. Not terrible, more than edible but very underwhelming. Now I did not have and entree, so maybe they are better. I had the roasted cauliflower and the wings 😐 and a cocktail. A hunk of roasted cauliflower sitting in some sauce. The wing had no depth of flavor, saucy and spicy. I honestly was just disappointed. This is a cute place inside and the service was good but the food did not deliver. The cocktail was nice.

Outstanding food; both the burger on the dinner menu and the corn beef hash & french toast for breakfast!

Stopped in for burger week. I had high hopes. I ordered my burger medium. It was pretty much raw. I couldn’t finish it. I’d guessing the burger was still frozen when it wad thrown in the griddle. Even fries were cold and soggy.

Loom boasts a beautiful interior, excellent food, and a fun atmosphere. Locals and hotel guests are normally found in equal proportion enjoying an upscale night out in downtown Macon. Add in an award winning chef, and I think everyone will enjoy their experience at Loom!

Chef Tanya had excellent people skills with both adults, kids and babies during the trick or treat event down town. The wife and I are definitley going back to try some dinner plates. I took a walk through when the event was going on and the dishes looked and smelled so good.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. The vibe, the food and the best part - the service. Wow, you do not get service like that anymore. I’m truly a fan. Thank you, Brandi and crew!!!
