The food was "ok". The Berkshire pork chop was overcooked (well vs medium) and lacked personality. The grits (under chop) were "fine", nothing special. The peppadew relish on the chop was the star...sadly.The deep fried cauliflower appetizer lacked "something" and the sauce didn't add much.I've heard good things but I was underwhelmed. Apologies for honest post.

Our family of 3 went here for Easter Sunday. I made a reservation online and checked the brunch menu which looked interesting. When we arrived we found out they were only offering a buffet that had very little in common with the brunch menu. On our first trip through the line, my husband and I got the last 4 asparagus spears and about an ounce of ham. Everything else was either empty or too starchy for our tastes. My adult son got one waffle and didn’t like anything else on the buffet. After 2 more trips to check if the buffet had been refilled we were able to get a small piece of overcooked salmon. When we mentioned to our waitress that our son couldn’t find anything else he wanted on the buffet, we were able to get him a bacon omelet. His omelet was delicious, but since they charged us for his buffet and the omelet, it was quite pricey. I don’t fault the waitstaff as they were understaffed and doing the best they could. This was a management problem.

Beautiful space. The biscuits and gravy were surprisingly delicious and flavorful. The banana bread was supposed to be served with peach preserves. That didn't happen. Had too ask for butter and the butter looked like they really struggled. Service is quite slow -but kind. Breakfast far outshined dinner.

It was good, smash burger was decent, nothing overtly impressive. Other times have been less fortunate.

Went to Loom tonight for dinner , for my daughters birthday. The service by Amira was fantastic and Chef Matt Schleis did a amazing job on the entrées!

We have dined here several times and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere but this time it was like the chef was not in. Our server was sweet and attentive, our table was nice, truly the only problem was the food was subpar. Bland, over cooked steak and just okay salmon dishes, even the salads were not as normally prepared. I love this place and I hope it was just an off night.

The food was pretty but nothing special. The service was not particularly good or bad. We were there early in the morning so it is understandable that things were moving a little slow. My mom had the eggs Benedict which she said was good, but the sauce wasn't very flavorful. I had the veggie omelet which arrived cold and fairly flavorless. The potatoes were unseasoned, cubed, and fried. For one of Macon's upscale brunch options, we were not all that impressed.

Let me caveat this review by stating that we were a large group (there were 14 of us) but we did make a reservation. I just wanted to mention that since, as a former server, the size of a group does matter. That being said, we arrived on time and the restaurant was almost completely empty, there was only one table occupied with just one person sitting there. We still had to wait almost 30 mins until we were sat, which was odd. When we left there were still only 3-4 tables occupied so it wasn't a busy night. Their bar was very understocked, they were out of at least 50% of the alcohol we requested and often even our follow up drinks couldn't be made. The service we received was just a notch below okay - refills were delivered that weren't requested and others that requested refills never received them. That was frustrating to those that were driving as they didn't want another drink, but it was difficult to catch our server so instead we just gave our drinks to folks that didn't receive theirs (even though it wasn't what they ordered). The food took quite a while to come out, however most of my coworkers did like their meals! Unfortunately my salmon was really overcooked and salty, but the appetizers were quite good, particularly the fried shrimp. Overall it wasn't a great experience, especially considering the price, but certainly wasn't terrible. We expected to see an automatic tip on the bill, but were surprised to see that it was set at 20%. We would have absolutely tipped 15% simply because of the size of our group, but would have preferred to make the choice to tip over the standard rate, considering the subpar service.

Amazing restaurant with great food and service. The pianist was amazing and even made songs I didn't know could be made elegant elegant. The servers brought out food and drinks in an adequate amount of time with room to also enjoy the food you already had without feeling like everything was being piled on top of your stomach. Drinks made to perfection, with a fun local oriented descriptive menu with names of artists and scenery that showed the rich history of Macon, GA. Will be coming back for sure!!!!

honestly the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. I don't think I've ever left an online review for a restaurant, but I'm going out of my way for this one.we sat down at 8pm and didn't leave till 11pm. took about an hour to order, an hour to get the food and drinks and another hour to get the check and be able to pay. we had split checks but eventually just had one person put it all on their card to speed up the painfully long process of trying to pay. I'm not pointing fingers at our waiter either. I honestly think the restaurant just didn't provide adequate training or support. seems like they just threw this person into a role without any guidance or help.moving on to the food, I've had better meals at waffle house. This restaurant trying to pass itself off as something high-end is an absolute joke. there are entrees on the menu for $50 a plate. it's all frozen sysco TV dinners and is barely above fast food quality. everything I tried was either over cooked or clearly just dumped out of a pre packaged bag and reheated.if this place is still open in 6 months I'll be surprised. don't waste your money. either the hotel if financially proping this place up so that they have somewhere to eat in the building, or the owners of the restaurant have already decided they are going out of business and have just completely given up while they serve out the last remaining bit of their lease

I just had my husband's 40th Birthday party there. We had a private dining area that was elegantly dressed. The atmosphere was perfect for my family.Service was not perfect just bc the food took longer than expected. But everything that came out of the kitchen was great except for the collard greens. They were too salty. But honestly we did not come for collard greens. We came for the vibe and the ambience. I would recommend.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu was nice: mac and cheese, hamburgers, and chicken strips
