We typically go to Marrow to get out of Macon, and the Staff and Kitchen seem to stay focused on offering quality food and service!

A group of 16 hungry men made their way from Macon to Bolingbrook to experience Marrow '41. As we entered the friendly wait staff immediately took drink orders. We were all able to sit at one big table accommodating conversation amidst soft music. The deviled eggs made a great appetizer for all. The Smash Burger, Eggs Benedict with brisket and the Shrimp and Grits were hits! The banana pudding was southernly yummy but a bit sweet with grumbles on top. Oh yes, our group will be back! Dr. Don Clarke, Centenary Church.
Parking: Easy just beyond front porch.

The ribs were awesome. I only got half a rack and it was a lot. The whole rack would be enough to turn over Fred Flintstones car. Lol my wife had the wings she said they were good too. Hey it's my brother's place but i ain't lying about the food it's awesome for sure.

We had wonderful Shrimp & Grits and Catfish. Neither were greasy. The Shrimp was yummy on stone ground grits.? I also had a strawberry martini with muddled basil. So good! The service was excellent .We shall return!

A long road trip brought my husband and I here. We were looking for a healthier lunch spot vs. fast food. This was the ONLY option for real food right off the highway that we could tell from extensive Google searches. So glad we found this place! The staff were super nice and welcoming. The food was excellent. Love the shabby chic country atmosphere. This place should advertise as a healthier food option right off the highway. Delicious, convenient, and not overpriced. Great spot! ?

Over $100 for an appetizer, two cocktails and a pork chop. Menu is very vague so you don't really know what sides you're getting because it's the "chefs" decision (mine was fried potatoes), so if you have dietary restrictions or you're a picky eater, you may have an issue. The bone marrow was what I chose to come here for, but they were out of marrow. If the name of your restaurant is a food, then you should probably keep it stocked. It's like going to a steakhouse and them telling you they dont have steaks. The ingredients that were in stock were high quality and the chef is clearly skilled. Desserts were good. Chairs and tables need to be updated. Cloth napkins would be nice instead of paper. I won't be back.

This past Friday, along with family and friends we arrived at Marrow 41. After reading the wonderful reviews I was excited to have dinner at this restaurant.Holden, our server, bartender and chief apologist did a wonderful job with little to work with.Unfortunately, we could not have had a worse experience. At 7:30p the restaurant was out of smoked wings, bone marrow and only had one smoked baby back rib dish left. It was ordered and in fact was not baby back ribs and in addition was under cooked. The smoked bone in pork chop actually had very little meat. The other dishes, trout (very salty) and the fried chicken was so disappointing. All entrees were served on cold cavatappi (no cheese) and cold vegetables. The bar was understocked and offered few choices. Our family wishes we were offered the same experience others have enjoyed.
Absolutely nothing to rave about. Totally substandard on all fronts . Where was the chef trained?! Not edible . Holden our server was put in a terrible position , but was so kind & tried his best. Otherwise wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
