Horrible service. I ordered here from doordash a hour before closing . About 10 minutes before closing I realized the dasher was not going to make it in time . My husband rushed over there to pick up my food that was ordered an hour ago but got there 2 minutes after closing . So instead of someone just handing him a bag of food that should have been ready the guy got rude and said he was there 2 minutes after closing so now I wasn't allowed to have my order and to wait 6 to 7 days for a refund ! Definitely the worse service and personality I have ever seen !!

wow, what a great random find. on the way from Savannah to Atlanta we were craving a meat & 3 style meal and Memaw's did not disappoint. some of the best fried chicken I've ever had (so savory) and definitely the best field peas/black eyed peas I've ever had (they had green beans and pork in them!). also was impressed with the cornbread, which never happens when I eat out. cornbread is easy to simplify and restaurants rarely capture the texture and flavor of homestyle. will definitely be stopping here again whenever I'm passing through Macon.

I'm very disappointed in Memaws today's, I purchase 3 plates of food and in my meatloaf plate mixed in with my collard greens was a soaked brown paper towel, at first I thought it was a long leaf of collards but when I went to bite into it, it surely was a brown paper towel. I'm not sure if I can eat here again. Very dissatisfied cause I love this place. There is no mistake in having a paper towel in your food. Truly not editable.

Yes yes yes this is the home cooking place of Macon. Food is excellent and customer service is great. Food is delicious and you get more than enough.
Everything is good. Especially, the buttermilk pie make you want to slap your mother. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. It a short wait for the food but well worth it.Updated post. It's 2022 and Memaw's still is one of the top soul food restaurants in Macon, Georgia hands down ??. Everything is always delicious, fresh, hot, and consistent. If anyone gets on hear claiming the portions are small and the food is nasty they're a liar from the darkest pits of hell. Also, I never had a buttermilk pie so good and the food season so well you don't need no additives.

Had a work obligation in Perry stopped through on Sunday to get veggies. Black owned and so worth the detour. Had a queen working the window and he was extremely helpful and kept the line moving. Cant eat inside, they are still taking precautions. Prices are reasonable and food was delightful. Veggies homemade no can. Take that detour.

Omg! I got the Oxtails, Lima beans, rice,corn bread, ruta bega meal and I tell you the truth, the best home cooked meal I've had since 1972!! I will be a repeat costumer! Delicious food, awesome service! And pretty fast,too!
