Happened across Mi Margarita's while traveling. I decided to get the MM enchilada thinking it would be small so I wouldn't have left overs on the drive. The proportions are super generous and I have leftovers I am looking forward to eating this afternoon
The only consistency here is the 50/50 shot at good food and/or service. Sometimes you'll get good, hot food with good service. Sometimes you'll get watery beans, greasy beef, buttery queso, and awful service. Very hit or miss over the past few years. Keep in mind, they now charge you extra for using a card instead of cash. I'm not a legal expert, but I kinda feel like this isn't a legit business practice.
Stopped here on a long drive from FL back to IL and it was a great find! Fantastic service, high quality food and all reasonably priced! Recommend if you’re looking for a great bite to eat and not wanting just your usual fast food chain restaurants. A quick 2 (maybe even 1 minute) minute detour off the exit and in the same parking lot as a gas station, nice 2 for 1 if you’re road tripping!
