Upon arrival we were told 30 minutes. We more than hour. One person working the front. Taking orders, answering phone and also sitting the customers. Food was not great. Rice was hard, noodles not very tasteful, shrimps was not cook long enough, steak was well done after I ask for medium, and veggies were great. The waitress was all over the place.

Last evening (Valentine’s Day) my wife and I ate here. As I was chewing, I could feel something rough mixed in the food. I stopped chewing, then I pulled a piece of wire out my mouth. The wire was from the brush used to clean the grill. It is obvious the grill was not clean. Now I am having to be concerned if I have other pieces of wire in my intestines. Be careful

a roach ran across the table and the host was generous enough to say it was a spider that made dinner easier to stomachbut when i went to find the restroom and accidentally went into the kitchen there was a bucket with a little man sitting there filling cups with what i assume was yum yum sauce and the laddle was sitting on the ground pure disgust but what really curled my stomach was the container after container of open chicken literally on the ground and a pair of shoes sitting within inches of chicken they feed to consumersthe wait staff was nice but need to learn how to whisper the F bomb gd and every other offensive word you can imagine and the manager walking aroung playing solitare on his phone like he dont care i will not go back ever again

I was disappointed with the food especially. The salad was a cup of iceberg drowning in a sweet dressing, the grilled chicken was dry, and everything mostly just tasted of soy sauce. My daughter's red snapper sushi was flavorless, and all in all, it was definitely not worth $75 for 2 smallish dinners. I wouldn't come back to Mikata.

Chef had to run back to the kitchen 3 times for items that were missed to be cooked on the grill. We were told by our server that noodles were included with our meals but when the chef came to cook he informed us that we didn’t get noodles because we didn’t order vegetables so they are not on the same page. Chef and server was arguing in front of our party. Been going here for 20 years and the quality of the food just ain’t the same anymore.

Didn't start great. The salad dressing is basically mayonnaise and the miso soup was sub par. The sushi was incredibly small. On the other hand, the service was good and the NY Strip hibachi was AMAZING. We came on a Friday so the ambience was full with f people with a couple screaming babies throwing food. Lol. I will come back if I don't have to pay for the soup or salad.

Very beautiful restaurant. It was Friday evening so of course they were packed. Decided to sit at the bar and I had a delicious Hibachi dinner, some sushi rolls, and hot sake. The pace of service was right on time, and everything was so tasty! The sherbet at the end was the perfect complement to a delicious dinner. They also have a very authentic green tea that I enjoyed.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie and seafood options

We had a great time! The hibachi chef was fun and entertaining. Our older kid loved talking to him and our food was delicious! Our server Nichole was THE BEST. Great sense of humor, very personable and so nice to our kids (especially when our youngest was having a tough time). We plan to come back often!
