This establishment has definitely gone bad. It was great for many years, a true Macon gem, but after a change of owners about 2017-18 it went down, food was not good service was worse. Went back today to give it a fair chance after much time had passed and new owners once again. Well, first don’t order the shrimp advertised at a pound… got 15 shrimp of a 31-40 count size. When asked the manager wanted to argue that I got more than 12 shrimp and there price is lower than others… the menu says a pound and what you get is optimistically 1/2 a pound. I doubt we ever go back because of the attitude of the manager.

Good dive bar experience. Prices are reasonable. Food was good, but we just had fries and tater tots. No smoking allowed was a big plus.

Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Awesome bands 3-4 nights a week. The bartenders make it a point to make you feel welcome, and the regulars are always very friendly to newcomers. Come out, and I guarantee you will have a good time.

Great place to meet the locals. Very friendly They'll give you tips on macon. Wished we'd have stopped in at beginning our visit. Last year they won burger competition. Ice cold beer.
