My son recently visited this Nu‑Way and was literally overjoyed by how kind everyone was—along with the delicious food, of course. He even called me while he was there, and I could hear the warmth coming through the phone. Employee Lisha was absolutely fabulous, and my son was right—she really was “so nice.”
Thank you, Nu‑Way, for continuing a tradition that means so much to our family. You’ve been a staple for my mother since she was a girl, and now you’re becoming one for the next generation. That kind of consistency, care, and kindness truly matters.

First of all, I must say the young lady Mercedes that works at the front. She’s a cashier. She has the most beautiful spirit very respectful. Every time I come in she’s working hard always have the front end clean always greet you with a smile this young lady, I can see her being a manager. She goes over and beyond for the customers each and every time I have came in she greets you with the most beautiful smile and always have the most positive energy. If it was more of Mercedes this place will be great. She deserves to be a manager or raise she makes us wanna come in every day.

A worker name, Emandre was at the window when I pulled up he didn’t say anything at all. He didn’t ask me for my card information. He didn’t say hey nor thank you. He just reached his hand out for me to give him the card. He didn’t even give me a price he gave me my card back didn’t say anything Looked at me close the window bad customer service.

...updating my original review from 4 months ago. The food has not been as good as the first few visits. Over the last few months, the experience at this location has become more like the McDonald's on Zebulon road...grumpy and non-interactive employees, the fries have been undercooked the last 5 times I've been here, floppy and still chunky inside. The hot dog buns have been split in half when I open the foil, and the drinks are always FULL of ice, so you get like 3 sips before it's out. I'll try this one again soon, but IMO, if you want hot dogs and fries/rings, it might be worth your time to try Baconsfield or Hillcrest.

If you’re from the area there is no need to explain about Nu-way. If you are visiting don’t miss the opportunity for an iconic experience. This location replaced the one down the street and is much larger and will spacious seating. My food was hot, fresh, and ready quickly. The staff were very friendly and kept the place clean. I will return to this location next time I’m in the area and recommend it to anyone looking for a good chili dog. 🌭
