I've been eating nu way since I was a kid. Its always been a treat. Lately the food has been subpar. Fries cold, hotdogs taste different. Out of certain items. Not to mention now they are expensive as h*ll. Im probably done with nu way. Too expensive for subpar food.

Ordered 2 hamburgers all the way and received 2 plain cheeseburgers. Was very disappointed.

We'd drive a long way for a Nu-Way...always delicious
First time eating here. The bacon cheese burger was very full of flavor, best I've had in a while. The only reason I gave 3 stars was due to the price. I ordered 2 combos and only received one actual combo and a burger with a drink. The price was 19.60, and the burgers were the size of a child's happy meal size. I'll give it a whirl again only because good tasting food is hard to find.

Personally have been eating at this location since the early 1980s. My grandfather Marion started taking me here when I was a small child. Not only does this location have nostalgic meaning for me, but the food has been consistent for more than 40 years of my life. That’s saying a hell of a lot. I cannot go to any other restaurant and receive the same quality and taste that Nu-Way has been offering for decades.The menu here is super simple, you want a hamburger or a hotdog, you want it with chili or plain. Yes, they offer egg salad and a few other sandwiches, but those who know come here for the chili dogs. Those who are diehard fans, know to come on Monday and Tuesday for the three dog special.Whether you’re a longtime resident of Macon or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite. They have some of the best sweet tea in middle Georgia and better french fries than 90% of the places I’ve eaten around town.There is no substitute, and their slogan is true, “I’d go along way for a Nu-Way” because I drive all the way from Milledgeville for chili dogs and it’s worth every mile.
