My wife and I have been going to this restaurant for years. Always been great service and excellent food. Today we went, and actually had to go ask for our drinks after we ate our salads. Drinks came 5 minutes later without a word spoken and the waitress NEVER came back. Snarky cashier at the front too. Food still good but service is severely lacking.
It's definitely not what it used to be. We were there a few hours before closing time on a sunday. The food selection was not what I was hoping for at the price point we paid. The food quality wasn't bad, there just wasn't a lot of it.
We were a large group and they accommodated us well. The server did a good job with as many of us as there were, even offered to take a photo for us. From our group everyone enjoyed the fried catfish, chicken, and rolls. The only items that were not enjoyed were the fried okra and ribs. There was a large selection on the buffet including desserts.
