Papouli's Mediterranean Cafe and Market

I love the food, but I don’t eat much. I usually get a single item (ie a Gyro) BUT they now only sell “combo” meals that are 2x more expensive and come with unwanted food that would be wasted. Until I can buy just a single menu item (gyro) without ordering a combo without side (same price as combo) I won’t be eating here. Not being able to a la carte an item means my only choose is to pay more and receive unwanted items.

I love this place! So much so I voted for them in the best of middle Georgia. The food is delicious! Always a good time. Love the cooler of cheese and whatnot. Will be back!

The food here is excellent! Whenever I drive through Macon, this is where I go. Have brought family and friends who also loved it.

The humus was too thin. The beef lamb gyro had some sort of cheese on it... negative.the Tabouli was wonderful!

Best Greek food in Middle Georgia by a long shot - consistently amazing! I visit weekly for my “take home hummus,” among other things. Every meal is made fresh to order and so delicious! Highly recommend! A+++

Great service, incredible food, top quality, absolutely delicious! We had two gyros (beef and lamb), and the amount of toppings and sauce was perfect! We both had a size of fries, and I saved 1/2 my sandwich and fries for a 2nd meal. Highly recommend! Enjoy! (Folks working are super nice as well! ... and they have Coke ZERO and fresh lemon for the sweet tea!)

Service was great , atmosphere was great (mandolin tunes in the background). I wish I had taken a photo of the souvlaki gyro before I ate it. It was presented so well and tasted fantastic. Dessert sampler was good too. Have been here once before and will come many more times.

If you’re hesitant to be spending $15-$16 on yourself for a lunch, don’t be the quality of food absolutely more than justifies the price. The gyros are top tier, and the fries (Regular or Greek) are the best in town. One of the best places to eat in Macon.

Food was great but location is bad.. If they moved to a better location I would come back. Didn't seem like a safe area and the traffic and accessibility is terrible.

Stuff to eat there. Because the restaurant next door didn't have any ingredients to make sandwiches. Glad I made the decision to stop there. The food was delicious and uh, people were helpful and friendly.
