Go to the counter and order. They may ask you from the back what you want before you get to the counter. We still were not rushed to place an order, they told us to take our time since it was our first time.
There was a fireplace burning, classic booths and older tables to feel like grandmas house. Fast service and AMAZING food. A small selection makes for better quality. We ordered the Reuben, Club, postage salad and a side of pimento cheese. Everything was amazing. Plenty of sandwich on both. I almost dislocated my jaw trying to bite into the club. The postage had a slight sweet flavor, delicious and not dry like some.
I highly recommend. We will go back over and over. Thank you for good food.

Place has been around for 40 years. Very simple, fresh ingredients, fresh bread, very small town atmosphere, very clean, plenty of parking and handicap accessible. I come here 2 to 3 times a month…. you get your sandwich just the way you order, a great place.
Best place in Macon to get a delicious sandwich, chips and a beverage. Their sourdough bread is especially good and just the right hardness.

came in to get a chef salad, today (10/01/2024) asked for everything on it when I got to work I had a lettuce, turkey and cheese salad. I was vey disappointed with it. I didn't have time to take it back. I Love the food there but not today.
