Arrived at 12:15 today, 2 persons there ahead of us, names put on waiting list. At 1:10 no one had been seated and over 15 persons paid and left. l noticed 5 tables that had dirty dishes on them, apparently no one to clean them. l only saw 2 waitresses, one in dining area and one at bar. my second time here and my last. First time almost the same, severely understaffed. Took about an hour to get food but it was good. But I'm not going to wait for well over an hour for someone to bus tables so that l can get seated. walked out today before being seated. When l left no one had been seated. Very poorly managed.

The service was ok, but the food was terrible! The fried catfish was WAY over cooked. It was so tough I had to cut it off the bone with a fork, French fries were grease laden, and the coleslaw tasted like it was about to go bad. If I could give it a 0 rating I would.

I have eaten here several times, and always good! I'm a catfish person, which was always seasoned and cooked perfectly, recently tried the fried shrimp and it was great. I've tried many other restaurants such as Kudzu's, Crab House , Red Lobster and by far Steve's is better. So much so that I drive across town to eat there!
