My family went here as a family of 5. We read the reviews so we thought this would be a pretty good place for Sushi. We ordered various rolls a hibachi plate sake and various drinks. I would say the rolls were mediocre. My mother ordered the Tuna roll it was disgusting. I've had LOTS of sushi in my life and this particular roll was ick. The tuna was slimy and pretty off putting. We’ve really come to love Sumo! They have a pretty expansive menu. Atmosphere is a lot nicer than some other similar establishments in Macon. Service is always fantastic - we’ve had the same server each time and she is so attentive and kind and very responsive whenever we ask for anything. Service staff is great, especially mid day when it's slow. But the sushi is the best quality I've had in Macon by far! We've returned often since they've opened.
