Taj Indian Restaurant

I was so happy when the brought back the buffet. But when I got there and went up to get my food well let's just say it was just ok. Most of the food was not good. It was cut up into much smaller pieces and lacked the flavor it used to have. The price was way to much from where it was in the past. It just seemed like they was not even trying. I will not go back and the price I know food and other things have gone up. But to charge $30 for two people with not that much on the buffet was not good. I will not go back from a scale 1to 10 I give it about a 4 it was just ok but not worth spending that much on.

Worst possible food on planet, the dirt on the plates and spoons were visible. The glasses smell like throwing up while drinking water, left the place within 10 mins with 15% tip as a gentleman which I am sure they don’t deserve.
Management, please understand people pay money that they earn with hardwork, don’t take customers for granted thinking you could fool people. I genuinely wish the food department to inspect this place and do the required inspection before someone terribly falls sick. I see many reviews pointing to your hygiene which I must have considered before entering your place

Absolutely disgusting. The chicken tikka was like wet tissue paper. I'm pretty sure it was rotten. I'm thought I saw roaches by the register.

Too much expensive restaurant 1 chapati price $2.99 1 Indian chai $4.99 Dal Makhni bad taste and i give -5star

Food was very delicious!!! I am vegan and ordered the Chana Masala (medium spiced) with rice and roti flatbread. It was very good!!! =)

Really good. I wanted Indian Spicy, but some dishes only go up to Spicy. No complaints, though, because the taste was exactly what Indian taste should be! The samosas are served piping hot.

The best service and kindest people ever! We stumbled upon this hidden gem while traveling through and it was a pure blessing. The food was incredible and fresh and the owner made our day with his kindness. Best food in Macon!

Worst ever Indian restaurant in and around GA. Probably in the whole USA.
Buffet was poorly presented! Restrooms and kitchen in the restaurant are grossly maintained and very unhygienic with dirt and mosquitoes in and around!!!!!
Curd rice in the buffet was watery and rice in was hard.
Upon our review and suggestion to make the restaurant more hygienic, staff responded saying “Restaurant has been here for last 30 years and we cannot make everyone happy!”

Before even entering the door and older employee gave evil eyes, if the greeting is anything like the service and food no thanks.

Food was not good and the service was awful, and I think she was the owner that gave me the nastiest look when I parked next to her.

Today was me and my bf 1st experience here and the lady up front was very informative on their menu. We ordered the chicken, Takki masala and the lamb curry with the garlic naan was very delicious. We definitely will be coming back to try the buffet. 10 out of 10!!!
