We sat at the bar, one stool available at the time. We got a second when the very nice man finished he offered up his spot right away. The bartenders were busy but still took over 10 minutes to take my drink order. I had to wave them down because they refused to look our way. I also asked for a menu. We got Long Island, they were good. Finally, after trying again to get some attention the man on the other side of me called the bartender by name and said we needed to order. She said "Oh, you want to order food? " Of course, that's why I asked for menus! The steaks were tough. Maybe I needed to order a better cut. My husband ordered ribs and said they were OK. I don't think I'd go back.

So, my husband and I went to Texas Roadhouse tonight. We always sit at the bar. My husband and I ordered one drink a piece upon our arrival. We got our salads fairly quick. My husband ordered a 2nd drink just before our supper was served. As our supper arrived, I realized my cup was empty. I looked up, but our waitress/bartender was nowhere in sight. I was forced to eat my entire supper without anything to drink. After finishing my supper, I saw our waitress. I told her that I was wondering where she had gone and explained that I had to eat supper without anything to drink. I literally felt like I was choking. She told me she had gone to the bathroom and then she walked away. She still didn't offer me anything to drink, and I was still sitting there with an empty cup. She wasn't very friendly, and she kept disappearing. I finally got up and walked all over the restaurant until I could find a manager. I explained that our waitress wouldn't offer me anything to drink and that we were done with supper. The manager followed us back to the bar, and after asking what I was drinking, he made me a drink. We had been done eating for about 10 or 15 min at this point, and my husband was drinking the last bit of his 2nd drink. Once we received our bill, there was a total of 5 drinks on the bill. The manager had added my drink to our bill and the waitress thinking the manager had made one for me and one for my husband had added 2 additional drinks to the bill. Had I known he was going to charge me to wash down my supper (long after the fact), I would've waited until I got to my car and drank my water to wash down the food. I explained to the waitress that my husband had 2 drinks and I had 2 drinks, which total 4 and not 5. I also told her I shouldn't have to pay for my 2nd drink since I had to choke down my food without a drink, but she left it on the bill, so we paid for it. I understand they were busy, and I usually never complain, but after explaining to the waitress that I ate my entire meal without anything to drink and still not being offered anything, I was pissed. When paying for an expensive meal, having a drink with supper should be a priority. Our supper cost us over $100, and that isn't cheap. I had begun eating ice from my cup bc I felt like I was choking. Not to mention, I had to work for a drink by getting up and walking the restaurant to find a manager to make me a drink. Greed gets you nowhere except the loss of an honest customer. We have spent too much money over the years at this establishment to be treated with such disrespect by a waitress AND the manager. We won't be back.

The food was fantastic. I got the smokehouse burger and a fully loaded sweet potato which came out looking like sweet potato souffle and tasted just as good. The yeast rolls are incredible with the cinnamon butter. My 4 year old at a whole one by herself and she just doesn't eat like that haha. It was very crowded on a Friday night but if you get there around 5:15 like we did, you won't have to wait long but when we left there was a fairly long line.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to for this! I love Texas road house and I’ve enjoyed them all but this one takes the cake! We were seated almost immediately on a busy Sunday, staff was very kind and attentive along with the manager, Craig who stopped by to introduce himself with a kind smile. I don’t travel this way often but with such a good experience I definitely will be back again!

Food was perfectly cooked! Waitress, Teri, was extremely nice and very prompt. She checked on us multiple times. Beautiful smile. I know this is a franchise, but always feel right at home when we stop at a Roadhouse. Management must be good.
