Someone told us to try this place, and I’m glad we listened. I ordered the fried chicken, mac and cheese, rice with gravy, and collard greens. Every dish was excellent. The chicken was perfectly fried, and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful iconic Macon spot for classic meat and three.
Rotating menu of made from scratch southern favourites.
Served up with sincere smiles and as much banter as you wish from the ladies behind the counter.
A small and packed dining area that somehow manages to feel cozy, not crowded.
They also have delicious desserts made in house, and take out.
The only issue you might have is finding a parking place.
Do not miss it!

First time here as we're only in Macon for a long weekend. Best meal we've had in months. Everyone working is super nice & sweet. I got lucky it was Friday so I got the fish filet, hush puppies, collards & mac n cheese. Everything was so tasty. My husband got fried chicken, mashed potatoes & green beans. We were both stuffed about 60% way thru. Lucky us later! I highly recommend. It is cafeteria style & then you go into a dining room. Exceptionally good meal. Thank y'all!

I absolutely LOVE this place. It reminds me of HOME.
I had the lemon chicken w/ rice, along with the collard greens and Mac 'n cheese. These lovely ladies gave me the most delicious thighs I have had in quite some time. I know the rest of the menu is absolutely FIRE. Price was not bad at all. I'll be back. That's a BET.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I visited a couple of days, ago. Customer service was excellent. Food was horrible. The vegetables tasted, as if it came straight out of a can. With no seasonings and boiling meat flavor added. The chicken was fried too hard. Sweet tea was bitter.
