WOW! We were greeted by the kindest host staff and were quickly seated around 9am. The restaurant is bright and colorful with fun murals and table cloths. Jada had the biggest smile and brightest personality, she made us feel like family from the get go. She was so warm and welcoming. She spoke so highly of the grits and man, those did not disappoint! Even my mother in law who hates grits, LOVED THEM! Our coffee came out fast and hot, yum! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The high flyer, the French toast, the build your own grits bowl. They also have ample gluten free options. We are so excited to have The Flying Biscuit in Macon! We can’t wait to come back and sit with Jada again!

This cafe is a true gem in downtown Macon. Even though I arrived close to closing, the food was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and my server Shug was wonderful. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming, and the experience felt like spending time with family. I look forward to coming back.

This was my first time visiting The Flying Biscuit and it was a wonderful experience! The service was excellent, and my server, Shug, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and a joy to talk with. The coffee was delicious, and I ordered the steak breakfast which was cooked to perfection. The biscuits were soft, fresh, and just the way I like them. I truly enjoyed everything about my visit and will definitely be coming back again!
