Cool old school tiki bar, as a former bartender I have to warn you the Sputnik Monkey is very smooth and delicious. Really cool vibe, reminded me of Fort Jefferson with the brick work on the inside.

My friends and I had a great experience here for a girls day! The drinks were THE BEST I ever had mainly bc I could barely taste the alcohol (I guess that could be a good or bad thing 😂) the atmosphere was warm and inviting. You felt truly transported to some bar in Hawaii. The staff were kind and attentive to everyone’s needs. Btw they no longer serve food! And you MUST have a reservation to get in. Overall 10/10 100 percent would do it again.

My friends and I have been to monkeys paw around 10 times. My husband & best friend have called recently to inquire about reservations and the lady that’s answered the phone both times was EXTREMELY RUDE. Using extremely belittling language “that’s what fully booked means” & sarcastically toned “try again next week”. The tone was not interested in adding any clientele or business & if there’s no availability you’d think the staff would be apologetic & try to bring business in or offer an available time/date. She was quick to Hang up the phone and not helpful at all.

It was a great place to get some tropical-themed cocktails. However, you usually need reservations and I was a lucky exception. Also, the staff is cool.

If I could get this bar a rating higher than a 5 I certainly would! The vibes are immaculate, the drinks are strong, and the whole atmosphere is incredible. The bar tender and staff are incredibly helpful, pleasant, and truly care whether their patrons are enjoying their drinks and time.

Always a great time at Monkey's Paw! Tony and Ashley are fun hosts, and the drinks are always fabulous. It's my go-to spot in Macon for a night out.

This is one of the best tiki bars in the entire state. It's absolutely worth a drive if you live in Atlanta like I do, we come here every couple months. Tony runs the bar with incomparable passion and talent. He makes your visit into an experience. It's clear this is not just a job or just another bar, even if you've never been to a tiki bar before and have no idea what to expect, you will leave with an appreciation for all things tiki. They are not snobbish as some Bartenders, they will happily explain different tastes and flavors, ask you what you like and make expert recommendations. All the drinks are great, you can't go wrong spending an evening here

Incredible experience. The rum cocktails we tried were all amazing. Fantastic vibe and ambiance; the bartenders were great. We spent about $40/person for 2 drinks each. The menu is 3 pages long, so it wouldn’t hurt to look at it before hand if you’re wanting to get 2 drinks in your one hour time slot.
