This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed.I found a spider on the bed, there was a huge cockroach in the room. There wasn’t a proper window. It was like a panic room. The entrance was in a really bad alley.I called them after hour and it said press 2 to route me to emergency maintenance request, but it never routed to someone, and it was just repeating the message again. This place didn’t worth more than 30 dollars a night, and I paid 300.They made it look nice for the pictures but the quality is horrible.

Came here to Quill at The Woodward Hotel and loved it! It was a quiet night so it was just myself and a couple of friends. I tried the Dear God cocktail and loved it! A friend had an old fashioned and the A Certain Slant cocktail. He enjoyed both. One friend was alcohol intolerant and tried the Blanche Dubois which they enjoyed immensely. The vibe and aesthetic are cozy and elegant. Service was fast and welcoming. It took a moment to find the entrance. Though we did miss the initial sign pointing in the direction of the bar and then the bar sign hanging from the side of the building itself. The entrance is located directly to the right of Tokyo Alley. Loved the outdoor space walking up to the entrance itself. This could be amazing for warmer temperature days. Will be going back for sure!

I just had a two night stay in room 9. The room was beautiful, bed comfy and linens were lovely. The location of the hotel is great, although I did have to drive by it a couple times to figure out exactly where it was! Within walking distance to many great restaurants and cute shops. The only issue I really had was the AC, ice, and the parking. I am super hot natured and prefer my bedroom COLD. The temp would not get below 68, which is comfortable for most, but I was warm. There is no ice maker in the building. There is an ice bucket and you can walk to the attached bar to get ice. Not really my vibe to walk into an upscale bar for ice when I’m trying to relax in my hotel room. I bought bags of ice at a gas station instead. The parking isn’t the best. You do have a parking garage to use, but it is small, dark, and you aren’t allowed to use the ground level. So second or third level only, then no elevator, so you have to walk up and down a flight or two of stairs tucked back in an alley. When I arrived, I parked on second floor of the parking deck, walked down a flight of stairs with my bags, half a block up the street to the hotel, then up a steep flight of stairs to my room. It’s certainly not unmanageable, but even if you don’t have any disabilities, it could be a difficult hike. And the parking garage felt unsafe to be in alone after dark.I say this only as disclosure before you go. These are first world problems and I will 100% return. Next time I will bring a small cooler of ice, I will park in the alley to unload my bags, I will stay in a room on the ground floor, I will get my parking tag before I initially park in the garage, and I will make sure I don’t need to go to the garage after dark if alone.

The hotel is centrally located in Macon and near to restaurants. The decor is modern and very nice, the bedding was super comfy. I liked that there are some amenities in the room, including coffee and water. I didn't like having to remember the code each time I entered the building, room, and parking, but I felt very secure in the building.

We stayed for a quick overnight between Atlanta and Savannah. The contactless check-in was great and directions to parking were clear and easy. We had an upstairs room (room 6) and I was pleasantly surprised with how spacious, clean, and updated it was. The bed was comfy, the linens great, and the a/c was fantastic. Our room was quiet with a small amount of street noise, and the location was convenient to everything downtown(would also recommend Macon Bagels a couple blocks away). I wish I took pictures; the ones on the site don't do justice for how modern the room feels. We didn't have any free drink coupons for Quill that others mention (maybe because we booked through Expedia?) but that didn't stop us from appreciating the drinks and the rooftop deck. Would 100% recommend if you find yourself in Macon.

The rooms were amazing: clean, comfortable, modern. The location couldn't be beat, we walked to everything in downtown Macon. Check-in and parking was a breeze. Lastly, the Quill, the hotel bar, was awesome! Cozy, stylish and had great cocktails! Would highly recommend!

This place was Awesome! The room was clean very comfortable bed and the staff was amazing. The only issue we had was we were on the first floor and the occupants on the second floor were very noisy coming in and going up the stairs and dropping things very loudly on the floor. They had no consideration for people that were under them. So I would suggest an upper floor if you want quiet. The Quill bar was fantastic as well. The place was just awesome!
