Spend 5 minutes and drive to the Zebulon location soooooo much better. This location use to be great and now it is almost useless ....food served cold, slow, dirty, people standing waiting for tables and 3 dirty tables in unbussed! Oh yeah no clean silverware we had to use the plastic. For 22 years this one was favorite location but I've the last year or so it just turned trash.

First of all, wife and I love Waffle House. This one was possibly the worst. 15 minutes before we could order after we sat down. The order was wrong and cold. Half of the order did not even show up until we asked for it again. And I think they forgot to clean their bathrooms.
Bottom line; If you are traveling, pick a different exit to stop and eat.

Parking: There was plenty of parking maybe 50 spots and probably 8 handicap. They even had Togo windows. I had never seen that before. Very nice place.
Wheelchair accessibility: There were about 8 handicap parking spaces right in front.

So I decided to go have breakfast alone on my Birthday, cause why not? It's waffle house! I see atleast 3 empty tables and only one taken seat at the go around bar. NO CLEAN SEAT AVAILABLE AT EITHER. lady says take a seat anywhere and I ask her if someone can clean a space. She says your gonna have to wait a moment. I politely step back and watch for like 2 mins where one whispers to the other and looks at me. And eventually they get a girl sitting down in the corner to start cleaning up. I get a seat and order. Waffle comes mad before the rest of my Allstars breakfast and then my sausage never came. They asked, I told them. Still never came nor was dropped on the stove. Then when I asked again, they gave me someone's already cooked sausage straight out of their Togo box... I'm not trying to cause problems on my birthday but damn. Never again, please do yourself a favor and avoid this establishment.

How canyon go bad with the Waffle House! I mean, it's the Waffle house. But the one one hwy 60 is the best!
Our server was busy doing other things. Never offered to refill our drinks. We were the only ones there for most of our time. The biscuit was a little overcooked. Other than this, it was a good visit. The rest of the food was great.

The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I wasn't happy about the extra charges attached too to-go orders. I was charged two extras charges to my bill that totalled an extra $10. I won't be back with these high prices.
