Wagers Bar and Grill in Macon, GA was a disappointing experience. I sat at the bar for 15 minutes without a greeting from either of the two bartenders, and it wasn’t even busy. As a bartender myself, I know the importance of acknowledging guests as soon as they arrive. I was looking to have an event there with my business associates. I won’t be returning. I’m sure that’s what they want as less black people as possible.

They don't greet you. They won't serve you. I went the first time and I think the manager tried to accommodate me by cutting the heater on outside. That was cool but all I wanted was service. The waitress didn't check up on me at all and I had to go to the bar myself to get my drinks. About the bar? There's a large male bartender der who has absolutely no people skills or desire to serve you. Why come to work? I tried to go back a second time and got ignored again. Went outside to smoke and the chairs were locked. This was in the evening. I don't think they like people of color much. I won't bother them again. Just wanted to buy a few beers and have a smoke.

For a bar experience, yes. If you're gonna get food, no. Menu said "piled high" In what universe is this "piled high". And basically tasteless...not worth $24.99 for the 2 dishes. Utterly disappointed I waited 30 mins and spent that much on this...just go to Wendy's

Brad and Madison were amazing hosts when I was there on 10/26! I may have been too tipsy and they probably hated me but they were the best and took such good care of me!!!

We loved this place. We came in during a Georgia F-ball game. It was a lot of fun. The food was perfect sports bar food. The offered jello shots everytime Georgia score a TD. A definite locals place where travelers are welcome. Smoking was allowed but was not a problem as a door was open.
Walked in at 9:55pm.
Was told kitchen was closed.
(It closes at 10:00)
Really?! Long day of travel, and you close the kitchen early?
Wouldn’t offer even one menu item.

I was disappointed. I was visiting Macon and my assistant and I read great reviews of the resturant. We couldn't eat in the establishment. Time we opened the door the cigarette smoke was overwhelming. I would advise going off times because it is a small parking lot.
