Heading east on I-20 we decided to check out Madison, GA. It is everything as advertised. While there we popped into Betty Gene's for breakfast and we are so glad we did. The Chicken and Waffles was outstanding and the Southern Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Their new digs, in an event center, has a great vibe. As good as the food was, the best part was our server, Kaci. She filled us in on why Madison is often referred to as one of the greatest small towns in America....
Excellent breakfast to be had here! The omelets are nice and flurry, the breakfast potatoes were perfectly seasoned and crispy, and the service was truly outstanding. Let me tell you, the collard greens were some of the best Ive ever had.Sitting outside on an overcast day was great and superb for people watching lol. Emma was so professional and sweet. We will return!
